Moorpark was founded in 1900 when the application for the Moorpark Post Office was approved and Inocencio C. Villegas was named Moorpark's first postmaster on August 8 of that year. The townsite of Moorpark was owned and surveyed by Robert W. Poindexter and his wife, Madeline. The town has experienced a great amount of growth since the late 1970s. The population was 34,421 at the 2010 census, up from 31,415 at the 2000 census.

This place is great. Everything was delicious. Everything. This was the best hot and sour shrimp soup I have ever had. Staff was very friendly, and the owner came over and introduced herself. It's a small place in a shopping center. Looked very clean. Great quality food, and everything was fantastic. I recommend this Thai restaurant over all in the area.

Sashimi is raw fish presented in it's purest form - no rice of other ingredients to interfere with enjoyment of the delicate fish. Although I always order only sashimi, we were visiting my wife's brother, and they like rolls and other forms of sushi so I was not expecting much.I was pleasantly surprised - the food was all outstanding, and fish was absolutely fresh.The ambiance of the restaurant was not the best, but after all, we came for the fish. I can highly recommend this establishment to the most discriminating fish palate.
