Arrived in Watchet for their WW11 weekend, after setting up our caravan we were hungry so called into the Spice Merchant hoping they solve our hunger!! Had a lovely welcome from the staff, there was a couple of other people there but not overly busy! Food arrived within a reasonable time, presentation was great, food was hot and tasted delicious! Prices were about the norm. Restaurant was clean and well present and as I said the lads were very friendly and welcomed us, chatted for a while too! Would definitely go back when weâre in that area and would recommend a visit if you like Indian food

We visit Ziangs whenever we are in Somerset as the food is just superb. The menu is always different and this time we shared mango chicken sambal and some chips. The fries have changed to french fries since our last visit but my boyfriend prefers these so he was happy. The sambal was utterly delicious and now served in china bowls which pleases my plastic-conscious mind! The location is great.. what could be nicer than eating fresh asian cuisine in the sun overlooking boats and families crabbing. We will be back again (and again....)
On holiday in Porlock village, this place is on main road ten minutes away on outskirts Minehead, good quick service, well priced, food was well cooked and nice and hot. Had Chicken soup, ribs, king prawn Cantonese style, fried chicken and mushroom, all very tasty and good portion sizes. Only reason not 5 star was our fried rice was slightly over-cooked, but that's a personal taste so would definately recommend and go again.

This seems to be the only chinese resteraunt in Minehead, so we went although it was empty on a Staurday night! The wipeable tablecloths are very off putting and the decor is dire. The food was just above average, but as there is no atmosphere you would be better with a take away.

Had a meal here for Family and friends for my Sister in Laws birthday, good atmosphere al evening, I had the Lamb Kata Massala, something I'd never tried before (or heard of!) and I wasn't disappointed, lovely strips of Lamb in a tasty medium sauce with onion, garlic and ginger, very tasty, and a very pleasant evening was had by all.
