My husband and I ate here twice within 10 days; "Talk of the Town" is a small restaurant popular with the local Navy population. This was our first experience with Filipino food so we chose the 'Chicken Adobo platter' served with steamed rice, lumpia (a filipino style mini eggroll) and chicken on a skewer. The food is plentiful, the prices are very reasonable; mainly a lunch crowd the restaurant is open in the evenings. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys filipino food to try "Talk of the Town" and if you have never experienced authentic Filipino food, this is the restaurant for you.

I've always eaten take-out from here. It's my favorite place to order out in millington. It's not greasy and it's always delicious. It isn't authentic chinese food in my opinion, but it's scrumptious.... and never disappoints. Some of our favorites are: house lo mein, house fried rice, eggrolls, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccolli, sesame chicken, chicken skewers, crab rangoons...... everything we've had has been delicious.

The restaurant was clean and the service was good but the food was just average. I always feel these types of buffer restaurants go a little heavy on sugar in all of their recipes. I liked three things on the buffet: one type of sushi, the crab cakes and one type of flaky pastry dessert.

A friend and I visited for lunch on a recommendation. Very friendly reception and we learned that eating-in for lunch gives you a bonus..... I thoroughly enjoyed my egg drop soup and egg roll while awaiting my kung pao chicken. The portion size of my main entree was what I call, 'lunch tomorrow.' The kung pao chicken was not the best I've ever had, but it was tasty. Definitely going into the lunch time rotation.

Sometimes you find a jewel of a place to eat and that is what Malino Filipino Restaurant is. Good home Filipino cooking with a friendly staff. Takes me back to all of those great meals I had gatherings over the years. Bottom line good food at reasonable prices.

Kobe Japanese restaurant is by far my favorite dining option in Millington. I like their Hibachi plates with either chicken, shrimp, or steak. The stir fried rice and vegetables are nice accompaniments to the proteins. I would dine here every lunch if stationed in Millington.
