Went here after Antiquing in Merced. Was a cold day and wanted some comfort food and drink. Had warm Saki and combo tempura along with shrimp chow mein. All good and hot with waiter keeping good time with checking on us. Overall, a nice place to have lunch.

I compare all other Chinese restaurants with this. It is my go-to restaurant in Merced. Their chow mein noodle are pan fried unless many others of this type. Warning: be careful not to order too many dishes as you have a lot to take home!

My friends and I really like this restaurant and keep coming back here. We all have our favorite dishes. They always turn out delicious! The veggies have just the right crunch, and the sauces are wonderful. Thereâs usually enough to take home for a second meal. It tends to get quite busy here. The staff is up to the task, friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended!

I've been here for a few times now and never been disappointed. The service is quick and accurate, the food fresh and hot. I'm anxious to go back again.

It's a small restaurant that many locals enjoy - a bit like a Merced secret. The food selection and quality has been consistently good, the portions large, the price fine, and the service usually excellent the dozen times I've been. Neither the building nor the decor will impress you, but the food and service should make you happy. Vegans can eat there, too, as they have no problem adjusting ingredients. Unusual fact: don't be surprised to hear Country & Western music there instead of something traditional.

On the way home from Palmdale, we decided to Celebrate our 14th anniversary with some Japanese food. She ordered the chicken tepanyaki and fried beef plates, and I ordered the garlic onion seafood plate, but first a dragon roll. Big. Great craftmanship. We were almost full before we were finished with the soup. Best miso in a long time They don't scrimp on solids. The green salad was crispy and delish, then we tried to chow down on the main courses. Everything was mouthwatering, and full of flavor, and prompt as heck. We told them of our anniversary, and the waitperson took our pictures and gave us little ice cream balls that were the final gilding of an already delicious lily. We will make ourselves more of a regular couple here, I promise.

Having been to Japan and eating on the local economy there, I honestly believe this to be the only Japanese restaurant in the area to serve real Japanese food like I had there. The place used to be an old diner back in the 60's and the decor has not changed much but the FOOD is what you go there for and the FOOD IS GREAT! When I go with my wife we normally get the Nagame Combination Platter For Two, but if I go by myself I will go for many different things, my favorite being the Katsu Don. I eat here fairly frequently.

I always go here for thai food. They are really friendly. Their prices on food is inexpensive compared to other restaurant. I love the beef pho, pad thai, chicken larb, spring rolls, and calamari there. I recommend for anyone who is new to this place to try. You'll love it!

Turmeric is a wonderful place to feast on authentic Indian dishes both during their lunch buffet or on the dinner menu. They will prepare the fool just as spicy as you would like it to be.

We've Been Around For A Long Time Making Great Food. Sam Is Great!
Parking is often difficult but the food is very good. I make it a point to eat there before dark so I can maneuver through the very small parking lot without hitting another vehicle. Nice staff and the owner is often in house.
