The battered shrimp dish was a very tasty appetizer. The service was excellent, and they constantly brought tea refills. My entrée was sweet and sour chicken. It was a very large portion that I couldn't finish. It was much better than the similar dish from Chinese take out. The beef dish from the same part of the menu was also very good. The Thai ice tea was more like a smoothie, but it was tasty and filling. No complaints.

The space and service was great. The food though was average... overall lacking in flavor. We were there as part of a large party and the space and service they gave us was very nice. Music was a little too loud but that might not have been in the restaurants control as there was a DJ.Hi There, Thank you for your review! Our chefs are more than happy to adjust spice levels according to your taste buds. On your next visit, feel free to let the server know to make the dishes spicier! Thank you,Mantra
This place is a pleasant surprise just a few blocks from my home. They have replaced an Empanada place which we used to frequent. The food is very good. Not much grease so its definitely a healthy option. We tried the dumplings, bulgogi burrito, bap (chicken and beef) and miso soup. I especially love the red rice since it is lighter than regular white rice. The owner (Kate) is very accommodative and friendly. This is a great option in the neighborhood - the first of its kind and a great option if you want to avoid Chinese takeout

Iï¸ loved my meal of curry and mango salad. Each item was delicious, fresh, and wonderful! The mango salad was tasty with a vibrant dressing, and crispy lettuce amid the mango. The green curry was nicely flavored, along with the chicken and vegetables. The only mild disappointment was Iï¸ wished they had charged $2-3 more and provided larger portions.

At our family restaurant, you will experience our unique authentic Laotian and Esan Thai cuisine. We take the pride in cooking freshly made to order entrees and appreciate your patronage and patience while you wait for us to serve you.
Bottom Line:Came here for lunch. Will be back for dinner soon. Pork Rice dish made with real tender pork shoulder, not that kooky red stuff you see at ubiquitous American-ized Chinese restaurants. No soy on the table. Proud owner-chef couple. Seemed authentic. I had the Whole Crispy Red Snapper. I left nothing but the bonesâ¦and I even ate some of those. Go here and eat.Standard Disclaimer: Iâm a first generation Italian-American, who likes Asian food, as long as it doesnât burn out my insides. Stopped here after an extended appt at my favorite Hackensack Infusion Suite. 2pm. Needed food, and this place was highly regarded. I see why. Very authentic Thai / Lao food. There must be at least six signs indicating that their spice is at least four times spicier than traditional Asian food that you usually eat. âif you donât like spicy, please donât order spicyâ. You donât have to tell me twice. I ordered the Whole Red Snapper, crispy fried. It came covered with vegetables; some I recognized, some I had no idea what they were, but they donât sell them at any grocery store I shop. Of course, I ordered no spice, as I am in âspice trainingâ. Spice Training is like the Olympics. You know how there are some kids who have been tumbling and twisting since they were kids, so tumbling is no big deal. Same thing with spice. I applaud the folks who grew up eating Serrano and Habenero, and other red and green chiles that donât even need a nameâtheyâre just wicked hot. I like the idea of eating wicked hot, but alas, Iâm not physically wired that way. So, mild spice it isâ¦but Iâm training, so wait until the next Olympics. The fish, while delicious, could have bulked up, as I thought I was a bit lanky for its $30 price tag. Itâs my fault. Crispy Whole Red Snapper was not on the lunch menu. They told me so, as well as the price to satisfy my request (I didnât think it was too much of as stretch as the dish was on the dinner menu as a special). Whatever. I enjoyed it. My wife had a pork rice dish with a Thai basil sauce that was very good. As mentioned before, Asians and pork have a love / love relationship, so it is no wonder that the dish contained shredded real pork and not that chewy garbage normally served in my downtown corner Chinese joint. Once again, the dish could have bulked up with more pork, but overall, it was more than adequate for a lunch special. So, come here and eat. Weâll be back, the next time weâre in town.

They make tofu-based chicken, beef, fish dishes, all well-made. Good noodle and soup dishes. Well-priced. A local watering-hole, often crowded.

Came here with friends. First Thai restaurant in Bergen County. Very nice atmosphere. A lot of seating too. We had Pad Thai. Very good but seemed a little oily. We also had the massaman curry which was flavorful and plentiful. It was really good. Friends had a beef in gravy dish that they loved. Slices of beef that were tender. The service was great. Four dishes with tax and tip was $80. Tip: Parking is street parking with meters. Tip: takes reservations.
