Very good lunch specials - $6.80 for a huge take-out amount of Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables, pork fried rice, won-ton or egg-drop soup, and crisp noodles. The container was filled to the brim, and there was more than enough for leftovers for me. Pork fried rice was not at all greasy - just the way I like it. Quick service - waited perhaps only six minutes or so for my to-go order. Can have a cup of complimentary hot Chinese tea while waiting as you sit and watch the tv there. There are tables for eating in, but it's in a strip mall, so we prefer take-out.

I tried to eat here this evening was unable to. The place was nearly empty with one one table occupied with 4 people. There was a gentleman out front with an apron on talking on the phone. I went in and stood for several minutes and could never get a table. No one came out to offer a seat, or check on the table that was finished dinning. I left and went to the next restaurant across the street.

We've been ordering food from Good Friend(s) for as long as they have been open, and have always enjoyed it. We just had some last night and it was delicious! Crab rangoon, steamed dumplings with a yummy sauce, boneless BBQ spare ribs, etc. The spring rolls are out of this world. They always have the food ready within the time frame they give you. For an inexpensive and tasty meal, this is the place.

Service was quick and friendly; food was good. Disappointed that they don't have brown rice, but the white rice was excellent. Wonton soup was good, but not as seasoned as others I've had. Shrimp with Chinese vegetables was also good - lightly seasoned, though, with a whitish sauce. Egg drop soup was very good. We needed to put soy sauce on some items since they weren't highly seasoned already, but that's okay. The hot and sour soup was VERY spicy but good and flavorful. No fortune cookies came with the take-out, unfortunately, and there's no hot tea to warm you up as you wait for it to be ready. I wish they had that! Very convenient in the heart of Port Jervis.
