This restaurant is situated just behind my office and it is really convenient. The food served there is just typical malay food, I think the price has gone up this year but it is worth a try, They have nasi briyani every Thursday and free fruit on Friday.
Hainanese coffee shop is another Hainanese coffee shop.No difference with this one?Did not expect surprise.Wanted to have lunch. Next door was not open. So, decided to come here for just tea, bread and something ordinary like nasi lemak bungkus (small packed), soft boiled eggs etc, which is available at all Hainanese coffee shop.Did not expect to find a Hainanese chicken rice stall existed.Give it a try and found their Hainanese chicken rice quite good. Even the rice (cooked in fat) to be dry and not wet and greasy (where most stall are). The chicken rice stall is operated by a couple. So, payment is separate from the coffee shop
A very good place to hangout for youngsters or people discussing business. In a close building and far away from pollution and noise.Great taste of coffee as they got a coffee machine, I would suggest moroccan rice and SNOW ICE. Pro : fully aircond and good priceCons : Picture in the ads is far from real, not suitable for old peoples ( a lot of stairs)
Being here with friend for early dinner. Had fish, prawn, squid and crab. The food are delicious and affordable in price. The restaurant is just beside the Pengkalan Balak beach. We can feel the ocean wind while eating. Best place for short break.
Tips : Try the local teh tarik & Nasi LemakThe restaurant situated just beside the roadside & its a refurbish old traditional Malay house. Its a cosy place to 'lepak'& enjoy local food & also some of western food. I like the deco & the ambient in the kopitiam. The manager there is very friendly & even told me the story how the place open and operation. Pro's : I like the decoration. Con's : Parking problem.
