We operate this restaurant with passion of providing one of the best Quality, Taste & Experience in entire Ooty We cook for the day, with extra care on Cleanliness & Hygiene We are keen on your experience not only while consuming the food, but much after
The food is good but the service is poor... also they had a few popular items that were unavailable. Service was erratic... food came in installments and our drinks were forgotten. Even after reminding, we received one of the two drinks at the end of the meal. The second one never arrived. It was promptly billed though which we had to get removed. The place did not live upto its hype...sad

After struggling to find good Mughlai food all across ooty, we came across this place thanks to TripAdvisor reviews.Writing this after having an excellent Mughlai meal! Everything we ordered was impeccable and amazing. Wish we could have found out this place earlier we would have had all meals here. A note about the amazing service and helpful staff who go all the way to ensure a nice dining experience. Kudos!

Hot the best ambience for a restaurant... Outside the main restaurant, they have a Japanese Pagoda restaurant with Garden around... We really enjoyed the place... it's on a cliff topTried sizzler, flat noodles and a beef dish... The food not so great but it is an experience to visit the restaurant...Little difficult to find the location of the restaurent....but worth the effort..

Let me begin with the positives, their cold coffees are good and their humus is delicious. Table and general surroundings were clean. The negatives, I ordered tabbouleh and was given a garden salad. I asked the waiter 3 times to check and correct it but he insisted it was tabbouleh. A bit irritating but also funny as it had no parsley or bulgur. A bit like insisting a carrot is an onion. My husband ordered a lamb stake. He was given some curried lamb chopped up into four pieces which he said tasted awful. He went hungry that night as a result.

We visited for dinner and ordered roti, thepla, rajma and paneer mutter, all of which tasted good. The lassi on the other hand was so sweet it seemed more like shrikhand. Rates were slightly on the high side, but servings were reasonably large. The restaurant itself was of medium size (spread over 2/3 rooms?) on the first floor and had table service.Note: we visited Ooty in May 2018, but due to some exigencies I posted later and July 2018 was the earliest date possible.

We visited as a group of 8:1. Even though we called in early for reservation, we were waiting for almost 15 minutes. Thereafter we were still given 2 x 4 tables in the crowded ground level. It was by chance that one of us, went to 1st floor - who whole area was empty. We demanded that we be given space there. The manager only grudgingly accepted. 2. Plates are plasticky and wobbling. Poor quality.3. Not given spoons - after couple of reminders, we were given half washed dirty set of spoons. When we rejected them, the waiter happily passed them on to the next table. 4. Quanity is good. Onen large biryani was a bit much for 3 of us.5. Taste of veg biryani is average at the most. Not recommended at all.

The restaurant and the facilities are luxurious. We ordered soup, prawn starters and chicken main course. All the items were delicious. They had a musician playing live piano. It was our daughter's birthday, we had informed them in advance. They arranged for a small cake with candles. The guy played Happy birthday song on the piano. This made our visit even more memorable.

We went there for a lunch since the place was highly rated. We got there on the Sunday afternoon and there was utter chaos. The place is popular and there were at least 30-40 cars parked in a driveway not meant for over 15 cars. the waiting extending to hours and people were spilling over everywhere, trying to talk to the staff to land a table early. The staff I must say was great and very patient. We waited for half an hour but the list hadnt moved. We picked up a cold coffee which was average and left. The views from this place are great. So try going there for a photo op and maybe a meal either on a weekday or evening tea/ coffee. Don't even try the weekend lunch slot ! Dear Valued Guest,Greetings from Earl's Secret Ooty !We thank you for the time taken to review us here and must agree that we are quite popular, hence the waiting time. However, we must add that we are popular not without a good reason and we are sure you know that. We do serve good food, quality, have a good price and encourage the best of service. We would like to add that although we could not serve you earlier on the last visit, we have extended our seating capacity to over 40 covers more and have made arrangements to ensure that the wait time in at its minimum. We respect all our valued guest and will always do everything in our power to provide and excellent and enjoyable experience. However do come in earlier to ensure you get a seat without a wait.Looking forward to having you enjoy our food, service and ambiance at the earliest,The Guest relations Team.

Went there several times during our stay at Ponmari Residency. We had our dinner and also had our complementary breakfast there. Thumbs up for:1. Very good location.2. Very good and helpful staffs.3. Good food with lot of options. Breakfast buffet was quite good with loads of option I must mention. Specially the South Indian dishes were awesome !4. If you request them for some customization, they happily do that for you. (As we requested them not to add curry leaves or tamarind in our egg curry and to make it less spicy, they served the dishes according our taste ).5. Very good ambiance, lot of comfortable sitting arrangements were there.6. Quality and quantity both were very good.Thumbs down for:1. Prices are a little bit high for some dishes.2. Service is very very slow.3. They mostly serve South Indian dishes in buffet, apart from juice, tea, coffee or cornflakes etc. They need to add some North Indian dishes to their menu, which will be prepared in North Indian style.4. All the dishes ( dishes we got to taste) were prepared in South Indian style.Dear Sir, GREETINGS FROM PONMARI MULTICUISINE RESTAURANT! Thank you for your wonderful review.... It was nice to hear that you had an wonderful experience about our dinner. We welcome you again with families & friends at all event.
