After trying at least 5 different sushi places to take away in Lund, this is my favourite place. I have always ordered the platter for two people. It has always been beautifully arranged, with varied and good sushi. I love that there are many types of pieces and that some are fried, have sauce etc. If you want to eat sushi in a restaurant, I recommend Aiko, but Bonsai is the place to go for a take away!

We were not happy with this place. The food arrived after almost an hours wait. Finally when it did it was super spicy even though we had asked for the lowest spice level. And now we have bad digestion. We will not go here again. We were not happy to see the small kitchen where this poor guy was cooking - almost no space and no ventilation!

Very low prices for eating out in Sweden, fast food level on the prices. If you know that and come with similar expectations, you will be greatly surprised. The thai food (we had green and red curry with shrimp/chicken) was excellent and can often be found at double prices with the same quality. The beer is very cheap (53 kr/pint) the servic was spotless. Go for the food, not the ambience - not suitable for romantic dates.

Was here with a group of 8 people. We shared the large sashimi and large sushi platters for starters. While the sashimi was good, albeit rather standard in the fish variety, the nigiri sushi disappointed. The rice was gritty and flavorless (fish was still good). The main disappointment was the noodle dish (I had the version with the chicken). Dry chicken and very non-exciting veggies ended in a rather non-interesting noodle dish. Service was OK - a little bit aloof but not bad. Ambience is nice.

We were running errands on a Saturday afternoon and decided to grab lunch. We noticed this new restaurant and went for it. Felt very authentic, beautifully presented with delicious flavours and generous portions. Perhaps a tad more expensive than the average lunch in Lund but well worth the few extra kronor. We will go back

The dumplings are freshly fried and very good, the sauces are authentic and delicious and the staff is very friendly. The portions are very big, it's not very cheap but you get a lot for your money.

We were here to try their buffé for our late valentines day dinner. We tried to call and reserve a table and was told this was not possible that we should just arrive and see if there was room. So we arrived and got a small 2 persons table right at the door. We had a chance to change table later on which we did. We started off sushi and it was alright. Not super good or exciting. As buffé sushi usually are. Had been standing out and dried a bit if you catch my meaning. Nice seaweed sallad. We tried their dumplings which was quite the disappointment. Not flavourful and quite boring to be straight with you, including a very small and weak selection. Then we went to try the Mongolian BBQ. A lot of things to choose from which is nice. But I would have loved to have some form of guide in writing or maybe a person that one could ask for advice. Which goes with which. I asked the cook to recommend a sauce for me and I am not quite sure if he understood me. Anyhow. It was good. I have a big weakness for Pho, the vietnamese soup. Since rosegarden actually advertise them selves with (among other things) to come and make your own Pho! But what they served was not Pho. Maybe the broth was done right, it was good but where were all the fresh vegetables and the herbs and where were the lime? No hoisin sauce and no ordinary chilli sauce. Anyone ever eaten a Pho soup would know that what they tried to convince you were Pho in fact was a very failed attempt of one. I was deeply disapointed. At last we tried the different prepared dishes with everything between peanutsauced chicken sticks and beefstew. Some of the dishes were alright some of it not. Nothing that blew my taste buds away. To my surprise they also served very western food. I did not try those dishes due to no more space in my stomach. We did enjoy the softice with toppings and tried their cakes. The chocolate cake you can skip, dry and not worth the calories. My boyfriend liked the panacotta but I found it a bit wierd having what tasted and looked like "Ekströms kräm" on top. Since the buffet is so large i understand that it is diffucult to keep an eye on everything. There were often empty trays and even at some points no more plates. If they had one person in charge of keeping an eye on the buffé it didn't show. Over all I think this restaurant proves that one place cannot do everything well. Instead they manage to do some of it to an acceptable standard while some dishes should be skipped entirely. I would definitely recommend you to figure out which dish you want to eat, find a restaurant that does that particular dish as a speciality and eat there rather than here were everything is half done.

Was one of three nominees for this year's best restaurant in Lund and Malmö in 2010
After my favorite (unnamed) sushi place in Lund experienced severe drops in quality I decided to try out RÃ¥ Epok. I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi is good albeit not excellent. In comparison with other sushi places in Lund this one has more of a sit-down restaurant (cool design) feel to it which makes it more suitable for business lunches and couples.

We have this unique concept "all you can eat" sushi Chose from 84 different dishes: â Appetisers â Tempura â Fresh rolls â 6 different sushi types to choose from (Hosomaki, uramaki, kaburimaki, Futomaki, Nigiri & Gunkan)
The daily lunch offers not much choice, but what is available was very good. It was 2 nigiri and 8 maki of 2 different kind. There is no miso soup included (Which i missed, it would have been nice), but the sushi is definitely up to par for being in sweden. The rice was nice, the maki were tasty and the nigiri were having fresh fish.It would be interesting to try some other variant to see if the quality and taste is kept up all the way.

Service was great and food fantastic. We had some odd requests and they delivered these without fuzz and very well. Example of two of us couldnât decide on pad thai or steak, and they happily made half size dishes for us two, not merely cutting it in half but properly cooked two+two dishes in half size and presented them beautifully.
