We love to eat sushi but this was the first time in South America We ordered three different types of sushi and all of them were great!We had to wait a bit as there were many guests but that was ok and definitely worth it.

We had a wonderful dinner. Best meal of our two weeks in Ecuador. The owner/chef prepares top shelf sushi. His menu also includes traditional choices. Totally unexpected.Equally as important as the great food is the friendly and warm reception you receive from the owner and his family.If visiting the Loja area Akemi Sushi is a must visit.

The food is good and service is excellent. The diner can see what the cooks are fixing for your order as the place is small. There are many vitamins and minerals for sale and healthy juices and smoothies to choose from. They don't always have what is on the menu.
