Yen Ching's is a long established restaurant that serves up tasty Chinese food in a quiet and decorative atmosphere. Come for a couple's night out or bring a group. Yen Ching's can accommodate you. Their Oriental Chicken salad is a favorite among the local lunch crowd who work nearby.

We really liked the food here. It is Take out only and they don't open until 4 in the afternoon. They do a huge big business. People lined up to get the food. The chicken was so good. And the pieces were huge. They must get their chickens from TX LOL. I didn't like the chow mein that much, but I will get something else next time. Everything else we had was great and everything coming out of the kitchen looked really good. They are fast and get it packed up so you can get going while it is hot. I will go back again for sure. The food is also a really good price.!!!

Great Little Tiny place on Sacramento Street in downtown Lodi. We have been for lunch, dinner and have ordered take-out several times.Always very tasty and fresh ingredients used. Servers always greet you with a smileand a friendly hello. My husband always orders the Seafood Sampler. Lately, I have beenordering from the Salad section of the menu. None of them have disappointed. Plenty to eat. Don't expect anything fancy with the decor, so no dressing up for this place.

On July 6th we went to the new Haruka Japanese restaurant in Granite Bay, CA. The restaurant is decorated nicely in the expected Japanese modern style. There were very few other diners when we arrived at 6 o'clock. The first weirdness occurred when the drink orders arrived. I was served an over sized bottle of Kirin beer without a glass, and the bottle was just to big to drink from. Finally I asked one of the servers for a glass and he brought me one right away. The menu is typical Japanese - nothing different or special and the food was just ok, except for the portion size of the meat. We both ordered the bento boxes and the chicken and steak portions were ridiculously small - not even enough for a small child. The steak tasted very strange and I thought it may be the flavor of the teryaki sauce - wrong. The meat itself tasted awful. I don't think I'll be going back.

Stop by during lunch time. The sushi was OK but the Udon terrible no taste whatsoever. Service us OK.

The service was good, the food was great and the chef was entertaining. They have early bird specials until 5:30 which makes the price very affordable. The restaurant does not have a liquor license so there are not mixed drinks, but there is a good selection of domestic and Japanese needs to go along with several wine choices. The food is cooked at you table and the cooks are very entertaining. This is a good Lodi venue.

I love to meet my family here when I am in the area. It has great lunch specials for $8.95. We all have the Grilled noodle salad. Your choice of chicken, pork or beef. I think they would even do shrimp for an additional price. The meal comes with a cup of soup and two fried egg rolls. We jsut wish they served American style Iced Tea. They only have a weak green tea. Service is quick, efficient and friendly.Flavors are outstanding.

We lived in Tokyo and appreciate a good Japanese restaurant. The interior is comfortable, the service prompt and attentive, and food exceptional. The miso soup was very good, the tempura crisp and tasty, and the rice exceptional. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.

Had a great time here with a large group of friends. We did sake bombs, ordered lots of rolls and beer. Service was quick, restaurant was large and spacious and seafood was fresh! Great for larger groups!

WE have eaten in and have take out lunches and dinners many times. I have been earnestly trying everything on the menu - most recently the Volcano Chicken which was a tender grilled chicken breast with veggies. For people that are not inclined to Thai this is a great alternative. Also the crispy duck I believe that their best Thai dishes are the green curry and the pineapple fired rice or at least that is what my family is insistent on ordering every time. Note the restaurant is very popular so can be crowded sometimes but that is what happens when you have superb food.
