Reviews on Asian food in Lilongwe, Central Region, Malawi. The quiet capital of Malawi, Lilongwe is divided into New and Old Towns. The Old Town is where to go for bustling stores, markets, cafes, hotels, and restaurants. The New Town houses embassies, international aid organizations, and corporate headquarters. A large expat population has made Lilongwe a very Western city, and a perfect stopping point for tired travelers to relax and pick up some essentials for their trip to the country’s wildlife reserves or to the beaches of Lake Malawi.

Sana Food Courts hosts 5 Restaurants offering a wide range of foods including: Dairy, Indo Chinese, Flame Grilled. Also a cafe with a Children's Play Park!
I have had lunch here on couple of occasions as this is close to the place of my work. The best thing about Sana food court is a wide variety of cuisines and vast parking place. However, the quality of food varies and fluctuates. I had to suffer upset tummy on two occasions may be due to the poor quality oil or other ingredients they might be using. I have been avoiding this place, of late.

Have had pizza twice within a week -- took about 20 mins for food to be delivered to table. Owner was accommodating. Pizza was 5000MWK, open 7 days a week, chill vibe with outdoor bar area (where the pizza oven is). Not for a fancy dinner, but good if you're craving some 'za.

I was craving some western style Chinese food and Noble China fixed my cravings with their Sweet and Sour Chicken. I would not say it was the most authentic Chinese food I've had,but it was good and I enjoyed my meal. I also had their steamed dumplings and they weren't bad either, one of my dumplings had a chewy piece of meat in the stuffing but the rest were fine. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the prices were good. I like that they had a small and large option for each item on the menu, as you don't have to over eat or pay for more than you need as a solo diner, and there was still more than enough per portion. I will be visiting again.
I come here for bibimpap for lunch pretty regularly. It is a perfect lunch-size portion, and great on rainy days. Both the beef and tofu versions are good. The leek pancakes are also very good. The food comes out pretty quickly, and if you need it in a hurry, you can call ahead to place an order so your food will be ready right after you get there.Hi, Elizabeth! Im so glad you enjoy our food! Thank you for your review.

The food was very good, service was attentive, though a bit slow at times. Altogether the two evenings that I spent there were pleasant.

this resturand is part of the crossroads hotel. specializing in indian cuisine. you are always made welcome by the manager and food is freshly prepared. their naans are fresh and crispy. their butter chicken is very nice . sometimes service is slow if they have other functions going on but generally its okay. you can relax in a reasonably quite atmosphere and enjoy your meal. try their sizzlers also nice. you have to specify the level of heat in your food otherwise they are a tad heavy .

Very good Indian dishes. From start to end. Tasty and great quality food. You canât go wrong with Blue Ginger. Only snag which is prevalent in most places in Lilongwe is that the waiters forget about you. But on the basis of the food a definite must.

Enjoyed a fabulous luncheon here. Everything was superb with great attention to detail all ingredients were fresh. Worth going out of your way. Onwer of the cafe is an artist specializing in unique wood carvings and crafts which are truly works of art. These are on display and for sale in her shop adjacent to the cafe
