We often do take out at Osaka. It's SO well priced, and delicious. And they often have coupons on-line (at restomontreal.com), you could get 10% off. So even better value! All the usual suspects are AMAZING (Dynamite, Cali, Veggie, Kamikaze, Spciy Tuna), and they have a Hawaiien specialty maki too that's pretty awesome! It's also a BYOW, so great for having dinner there too. Always FULL! I highly recommend it!

If you are interested in discovering asian cuisine cooked in the rules of art, if you are sensitive to a warm and personalized service and if you look for the harmony of a Zen-inspired framework, of your wine and our dishes, you will not be disappointed a
We ate at this resturaunt for a birthday. We were not a big group but we prefferd to make reservations. I had the general tao, you can never go worng with that. I had been there before but I beleive the portion was smaller than the last time I had been there. The waitress was nice and all our orders were brought on time. We were also one of the last groups to leave. It was nice that they didn't kick us out. I would go back again.

We discovered this Vietnamese restaurant by surfing on the Internet and looking at places to go in TripAdvisor. We were actually looking for a restaurant near the Fabreville, Motel and Suites (see my review for it), where we stayed for the night. From the rating on TripAdvisor, we were pretty excited to discover this place, located in the Old Ste-Dorothée at a 10-minute drive from the Motel. We took a chance to drive straight to the restaurant without reserving. We were lucky as the place was packed and there was only one table left! There seem to be a lot of locals who visit this restaurant, this is a good thing. And I would say that it would gain to be discovered by more tourists as the food and service are simply excellent. My husband and I had the combination plate, which included the meat sautéed with vegetables, the Wonton Soup, the Imperial Roll, as well as rice or vermicelli with tea or coffee⦠all this for a fairly good price. Not only the price was good (you can expect to pay around 36$ for two, including the tip), the food was excellent, with plenty to fill your stomach. And on top of that, you can bring your own wine or beer if thatâs what you drink! Although the place had a full house, the service was pretty fast and staff was very pleasant. So if you are staying in Laval, near Ste-Dorothée, you would definitely want to give this place a try. I am certainly glad we did so. The restaurant is not that big, Iâd say about 40 seats, so it might also be wise to make a reservation prior to driving there, just in case. We went around 7:30 p.m. and, as mentioned, we were lucky to get a table. So, keep that mind. Great discovery!

We actually reserved our table the 31st of December. We didnât know what we were going to do for New Years and decided to come to Mikasa Restaurant since they had space for 9 at 6:00pm. The restaurant was not very busy as most people come to eat later for New Yearâs. We started with a sushi platter with a mix of their popular sushiâs. It was very good. We took their famous Tuna spring rolls, and also another specialty spicy sushi that was also very good. Our waitress Alice was very nice, attentive and quick. This was my first time at this Mikasa in Laval; I was pleasantly surprised and happy about my experience. I will definitely come back in the future. This restaurant is in a great location, easy to find parking on the street or in the back of the building. In the winter months there is an outside skating rink (with music) across the street where anybody can come and enjoy.

The main entrance section offers large white tables and chairs positioned like inregular restaurants, but the lower section offers more traditional private large & low tables with cushions (one must remove one's footwear). The service is very good; the menu offers many choices of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. The food is very good and well presented. Parking is available. Reservations are recommended. Costs are moderate to high.
