Reviews on Asian food in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. Pennsylvania Dutch country is a fascinating destination to explore. Visitors will get a glimpse of farm life as it was in the early 1800s. Visit markets and farm stores for homemade shoofly pie and fresh produce, or shop for a handmade quilt. President James Buchanan's elegant home, Wheatland, is no less historic but contrasts sharply to the simpler Pennsylvania Dutch heritage sites in Lancaster. Consider a side trip to nearby Hershey, home of Hershey Park and the Hershey chocolate factory.

This is the third sushi place in Lancaster weâve tried. It was the best out of those three but not so good. I will come back if I cannot find anything better around here... The service was good. Our waiter didnât speak very good English but he was very tentative and a great server. The food was okay.

Excellent Thai food, Lovely place, great food, great prices
On this return visit we introduced some friends to our favorite Thai restaurant in Lancaster. We always enjoy the more quiet atmosphere. BYOB helps with the bottom line. Service was very friendly, courteous and sensitive to our needs. We enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the spring rolls as apps. The chicken red curry and garlic chicken was very flavorful and spiced to our preference. There is attention to presentation and food is often garnished beautifully. Our friends loved their first visit and said they will most definitely return.

This restaurant is tucked into a small strip mall. The atmosphere is family friendly, often frequented by Asian customers, which to me is a sign of authentic food. The atmosphere is homey & comfortable, and the food is fresh tasting and delicious! The Spring Rolls with Peanut Dipping sauce are fantastic as is the wonton soup. I have frequently tried different dishes and enjoyed them all! Vegetables are brightly colored & perfectly prepared, sauces are delicate & flavorful. There is no alcohol & itâs not the place for âa night on the townâ or a romantic dinner. But if you want a beautiful, healthy Vietnamese meal at a reasonable price, this is a wonderful place.

Visiting the area and looking for an Italian restaurant. Found Ciro's and had a wonderful meal. Sauce was done right, preparation was perfect, and prices were reasonable. Bread made with rosemary was great. The desert bar was fantastic as well -- they have a "back door" if you want to just get dessert...almost 20 flavors of homemade gelato and the other usuals which looked fantastic. We had a one chocolate and one cookies-and-cream gelato, both delicious.

While in Lancaster for the weekend, I visited on the recommendation from someone that lives here. Was not disappointed! Staff was very professional and friendly. I ordered Red Curry with shrimp, medium, and it was just hot enough. Crispy rolls was another excellent choice. Also loved that it was BYOB where I could bring my own bottle of wine to eat with my dinner. Will visit again when I'm in the area.

Yuzu Asian Cuisine might be the hidden culinary gem of Lancaster, PA. Located directly across from the Lancaster Amtrak Station, Yuzu offers a delectable option to sitting and waiting for your train. I ordered the luncheon sushi platter. It was a delicious panoply of fresh fish, some of the finest miso soup I had ever tasted, and a salad with obviously fresh ginger dressing.Service was exemplary and pricing more than reasonable. I recommend Yuzu Asian Cuisine without reservation!

Arrived to a musty, unpleasant smell in the restaurant. Fake flowers were covered in heavy dust and the table had crumbs on it. The book on the table to look at items and specials was super greasy. Breadsticks were hard as a rock and stale, but in all fairness, the server did return with fresh ones. Salad was wet and lifeless....not at all like previous visits to an Olive Garden. The angel hair Pasta was crunchy on one side like it was under-cooked. The server was very nice...the only good thing about the visit.

We selected this restaurant based on the reviews. We were going to stop in another buffet, but the reviews were not good at all. We were pleasantly surprised at the lunch buffet. Big selection, good food, wait staff had The old plates removed from the table as soon as they were finished. The restrooms were clean and modern. The next time we are in the area we may try the dinner buffet here.

Checkers Bistro has an eclectic menu, with American, French and Asian influenced dishes. We are passionate about Food, Wine, Craft Beers and Spirits. We purchase as many ingredients locally that are in season. Our goal is to deliver a fine dining experien
While overall this was not a bad experience we have many places in Lancaster we have meals that are better. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was not cold, the vodka was mistakenly made into a martini, and three scallops in the entree cannot be considered generous. Although we did not ask for the error to be removed from our bill it would have been a nice gesture of hospitality.

My friends had been raving about this place, but I wasn't too impressed. I got the chicken and noodle salad bowl and it came with this foul smelling fish sauce that I had to get taken away because the smell was so bad. But without the sauce, it was all so dry and difficult to eat. I would maybe advise trying a noodle soup. The place is very small. There are not many tables and the tables are very small. So at dinner time many people are waiting, even on a week night. I know a lot of people take-out here, that may be a good alternative. While it wasn't for me, the other people at the table enjoyed their food.
