I have dined many times at Jholpai over the years. The food is tasty, reasonably priced and equally good as a takeaway.Customer service is what really sets this place apart. Jahed is fantastic and is very quick to rectify any issues- which are few and far between I hasten to add. He really does go above and beyond to please. Keep up the good work.

Ordered a take out. All vegetarian starters except one was chicken. You need to get your orders correct as we live too far away to just go back. You can't list yourself as being vegan either if you are going to be so disrespectful of peoples requests and more importantly, beliefs. Won't be going again. Dear customer We have seen your comments here. It is sad for us because if you made an complain over the phone we could apologise for our mistake and we could offer you some complimentary dish. You got chicken dish instead of vegetables, since you did not complain over the phone, we guess you ordered for âmeal for fourâ where normally two vegetables and two chicken starters come.May be you told our staff, you want three vegetable starters instead of two, may be my staff made a mistake to take your order. May be my chef made mistake to put right thing in your bag. But whatever happened we are really sorry for that. I hope you believe no one want to make this kind of mistakes. As a manager I try always try to serve our customers very carefully to avoid any mistakes. But unfortunately still it happened with you. We like to further tell you, Not only we are respectful for our customers, we believe every restaurant deals their customers respectfully because restaurants are open for customers. Needed a lunch in Lanark and fancied Chinese food. Googled and this came up. Not much from the outside but don't be put off, once inside you will see it is tastefully decorated in an eastern design. Nice table and chairs and delightful blinds seperate eating areas. Lunch menu very reasonably priced at £8:50 for a two course for a supplement of a £1:00 you could have a dessert as well.Service very friendly, and quick. Good choice of starters and main courses different from the usual Chinese restaurant fare for a table d' hote lunch. Even includes king prawns and duck.Great flavours and food cooked fresh and really tasty. Will definitely visit again

Usually get a great takeaway from China bleu however the last twice the food has been a disgrace and served in a pizza box!!! Won't be back definitely gone down hill and the place could do with a make over as looking a bit grubby when you walk in. Such a shame as it puts me off going to the restaurant as the food was always better sitting in!
