Been in Switzerland for 10 days now needed something with a different taste and value for money. Took a chance here, don't normally with Asian in Europe too many very average places catering to local palate rather authentic taste ( can't blame them too much I guess they need to make money). But all the dishes we had here were great. The Pho was very good, the nem were great the papaya salad with prawns was (according to my wife) also passable. The price was Swiss reasonable, anywhere else would be 50% the cost. But at least the food was good. I get really annoyed paying Swiss prices for not particular reason. Go here anytime

We went here on a Monday night, so the place was quite quiet. As a result we got a table by the window, so we could see people walking past above our heads (you have to go down some steps to reach the restaurant floor). The service was friendly and attentive, both in English and in French and the food was excellent. There is a choice of set menus, ranging from 33-77 CHF per person plus a good selection on the à la carte menu. I also had a very nice Dôle Blanche, which went well with the food. This place is not cheap, but it's a lot more civilised than some Chinese restaurants in the area.

We are the first Japanese restaurant specialised in Wagyu beef in Switzerland. We also serve the classic sushi and sashimi dishes, traditional Japanese hotpot, Shabu-shabu, Sukiyaki and Yosenabe and other traditional hot dishes. The restaurant is located
The restaurant had a special offer in one of the local newspapers offering a Kobe steak for half price. It seemed to us an opportunity to try the restaurant which had replaced another Japanese restaurant specialized on Sushi. The ambiance was not much different from the former place, the Ko-An, but the service was not even close to it â very reserved and not very communicative. The starters, a seaweed salad and a tuna tartare were quite good. My wife than had some Maki as main course whilst I tried to enjoy my Kobe steak. The Maki were, as my wife said, ok, nothing more. My Kobe steak was not only tough, but almost inedible. It was, in my personal opinion, actually the worst piece of meat I have eaten in my life. If I imagine not having had the 50% discount it would have been a disaster. I did not want to make any row as my wife and I had planned to enjoy a nice evening and both of us had a tough day behind us. So we left the restaurant without a big comment, but we will certainly not return to this place.

beautiful Asain place with a nice terrace !!! Very comfortable for everyone !!!
My wife and I both love Asian food so we were excited to find a new Vietnamese restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed with Chez Thoa. The service was very friendly in this family run restaurant which right away set it apart from many other restaurants. We had the Pho Bo, Tom Yum soup and a mixed vegetable dish. All were perfectly cooked. I have had many Tom Yum soup's over the years in various restaurants around the world and this one was one of the best. Truly authentic and great flavours. We're already planning our trip back!

I am very delighted to know Chez Xu has a branch in Vevey which is near where I live so noneed to travel all the way to Lausanne or Renens. Since its opening in April, I have been regular and very happy with the food and portion. Moreover, the lady boss is very nice and generous. I enjoyed a lot with some of my favourite dishes like fish with salted vegetables, dumplings, eggplant, toufu, cucumber plus alga starters. I would strongly recommend you to try !!!

Me and my family have been in Noix de Coco in Vevey several times, as always the food is very good and the price reasonable for Swiss standards. They are however becoming victims of their own success. The place is always crowded and thus the service and family atmosphere has somehow faded a bit.I still continue to recommend it to anyone in Vevey.

A smallish place but centrally located. Basically a sushi place, I love japanese food (having lived there for a little while) but never that fussed on sushi rolls. I non sushi choices were a bit limited. I had the Yakitori, OK but not a close enough copy for me. My wife the Karage rice bowl, she enjoyed that and the sushi being served to other people looked very good. As usual in Switzerland, food is expensive and value for money is hard to get.
