The restaurant located in Elmwood street is small but has lovely clean decor, the customer service was excellent and has a reasonably priced menu. We ordered a vegetable appetizer platter, lamb biryani, beef samosa, tandoori chicken and were served first with the delicious free naan.

This is a hibachi grill place but we went for the non grill options. The sushi rolls were decent, have had better. The noodles were awesome, very comforting and simple. The Thai food opted by my friends were left somewhat disappointed since it was sweet (in coconut curry), probably Americanized version. Would definitely go there again.
Don't let this place slip away! We've been here for lunch a few times now... great lunch specials! Delicious, large quantities, very reasonable pricing. Very friendly. Nice casual atmosphere. Food comes out fast too! If I lived or worked nearby, I'd definitely come here more often. Still, it's become a favorite and a regular spot for us.

Based on other reviews the family came to devour and were not disappointed. We had. Multiple questions which were eagerly responded to. We were advised as to portion sizes which are geared towards a family style approach. So a half order feeds two to three of that item and a full order feeds five to six. We ordered several dishes which were enjoyed by all. We had Bindi masala, daal malangi, chicken Karachi and beef Karachi. We ordered the proteins hot but nothing was overly spicy for us. The meal is accompanied by a slew of condiments such as nuts, hot pickle, cilantro hot green sauce, yogurt and a bowl of cut up fresh fruit! The service was attentive despite a full house including one large table of at least 20 people. We were all happy.

Orchid is overall, ok. You'll get your food quick and it's not badly priced. It tastes decent enough as well, however you get what you pay for. I suggest to not come to Orchid if you want to buy a hot/non-sushi meal (especially if you're going to be ordering Japanese). I ordered what I usually order at any Japanese Restaurant I go to, a Bento Box, however the Bento Box I ordered at Orchid wasn't that great. Mainly, the tempura was soggy and drenched with oil. Furthermore, the shrimp/fish/whatever dumplings that came with it seemed as if they came out of a box but I am not sure. Either way, if you want cheap food that comes out quick, come here. If you're looking for something of a little more higher quality, go elswhere.

I was blown away by the food here. The taste, texture, aroma, and quantity of the food was perfect and generous. My companions and I enjoyed the Tea leaf salad, my personal favorite, I can't explain how much I enjoyed this dish it really was a taste and texture explosion! The meatballs were so tasty, when the server described them I just had to try them to see what he was saying. So good and very different than any meatballs i ever had. Would definitely get them again. The Coconut Chicken soup looked yummy, I don't eat chicken so i have to believe it was good judging by the huge empty bowl. Loved the chic peas and bread. The bread was flaky and fried crispy with a hint of sweetness which complimented the chic peas. The Drunken rice with shrimp came in a huge bowl, too much to finish after all the other foods but equally as good. The flavors were a perfect blend and again the texture marvelous. They have a scrolling picture board of the menu items. I saw many things that I look forward to trying on future visits. Our server was a delightful young man that was helpful yet unobtrusive.

My wife and I were in Buffalo to visit our daughter and to see our four grandkids. Our 8 year old granddaughter was playing basketball and we wanted to see her progress. But first dinner. Our daughter chose this place because she knew everyone could find something to eat. She was right. The black rice California Roll was a highlight for me. Very tasty. The volcano appetizer was also quite good. I did not care much for the Burmese chicken curry. I thought it was rather surprisingly bland. My wife had the seafood fried rice and she was fully thrilled with it. Nothing was bad, just average food. Glad we tried it though.
