We had Hawaii Volcano rolls, which were delicious. We each also had a small salad, which was a generous portion. All in all, food was fresh and enjoyable. But something was off about the service. Thestaff seemed flustered and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. They had no record of our reservation, which we made on OpenTable. Our waiter was nice but disappeared for long periods of time. I really would have liked a refill of my water but couldnât find anyone to ask. The kitchen did not tell our waiter that they were out of the salad I ordered until I was served my main dish. Many tables were left with dishes and food on them and were not cleared, giving an overall messy impression. The staff was friendly but the restaurant as a whole seemed disorganized and did not have its act together.

I love the Pork and beans dish and the Sweet and sour Shrimp dish, the stir fried rice, the lo mein noodles. Well I think I love everything on the menu, I took my grand daughters there for dinner and they also loved the food, they are 12, and 9. So the whole family would enjoy there food.

An American and Korean Cuisine with a Full Service Bar nested in the middle of the Golf Resort . Open 7 days a week from 11 am to 10 pm except Christmas And New Year ( may extend hours if needed to accommodate late comers ).
Very good burger, taco ok, onion rings ok but greasy. Good draft beer served in frosty mugs. Very pleasant atmosphere overlooking practice putting green.
While the address of this restaurant is listed in Kamuela, it is actually located in the Parker Ranch Shopping Center in Waimea. It is part of the food court in the shopping center. I had Korean Chicken, which included two scoops of rice and two vegetables for $7.25. The food was quite good compared to other food court type offerings. The quantity was huge. For a substantial lunch at a very low price, this restaurant should be on everyone's budget restaurant list. Staff was cordial and the variety of vegetables available as side dishes was substantial. For vegetarians, they even had an "entree" comprised of four vegetable side dishes and two scoops of rice for around $8.

We have over 100 items on menu and lunch buffet monday to fridayand dinner buffet on sataudays. we can custom make any dish for our customers with special request or needs. We use all local vegetabls and all food are made with No MSG.
Really mediocre food, at relatively cheap prices considering it's Hawaii. Potstickers were really greasy and came with an unusually sweet sauce on the side. Both of us ordered a dish with meat and veggies and they were nearly identical in flavor and appearance. The place needs a thorough cleaning. Service was slow to start with but picked up. The best things I can say are that the menu is pretty large and they were busy (including lots of locals) so I guess not everyone will share my opinion!

"Earl's Restaurant if a local Hawaiian-Asian plate lunch take out food eatery in Kamuela (Waimea) town on the Big Island of Hawaii. Local's love it!"
So good! The Korean, and orange chicken roll are great, but if they got the smoked meat one its a must try. 100% deliciousness all wrapped up in seaweed

Kawaihae is a very small little town, just up the road from the mega-resorts of the Kohala coast. We stopped by to pick up a bento box for lunch. The place is very small and there is really no seating. As the name states, this is a take-out facility. The cashier and chef were both friendly. The food is typical Hawaiian with influences from many cultures. Everything is made to order, so expect to wait for a few minutes until your order is ready. Definitely a fun place to get a quick and tasty lunch.

We have been going here for years whenever we find ourselves on Hawaii island. Tasty, consistent quality and pleasant staff. I am partial to spicy curry dishes and love sticky rice - which they serve, and have never been disappointed. I leave satiated, full and find the prices reasonable. If you have a craving for Thai food, check them out. FYI: The Waimea location was closed on Tuesdays.

I had take out sushi here twice. The first time the sushi was great, and esp. my favorite, which is a roll with umeboshi and shiso leaf, and a few regular pieces. The second time, the sushi was unrecognizable, even the shiso-ume, and the California roll was inedible, (actually I always think California rolls are inedible, but this was was over the top awful). It was a friend who brought it to us, and if I didn't know better, I would have thought she'd made it herself as a joke. So how to rate? First time excellent, second time terrible, so I'm going to average them/this restaurant to average, but....
