Authentic Thai cuisine Thai food by suri is located behind times supermarket on Honokawai street in Lahaina. Very tasty Thai food and reasonable prices .
We saw these food trucks grouped together near the Honua Kai Resort and across from the Times Market. There are picnic tables there but we got ours to go and went to the beach for sunset dinner. I chose the Pad Thai with tofu and my daughter chose the drunken fish dish. Both were good but I would not say fantastic. But great for a quick filling decent meal near the beach. The Pad Thai was not spicy.

All of our dishes were very good.We will return...

Reading very positive reviews we ordered from Teppanyaki and did enjoy the meals. Watching the meals prepared was interesting but the price was expensive for what you got. The garlic rice is $4 more that regular and it was good but a bit greasy. The shrimp was fantastic but my husband did not enjoy his fish/steak combination which was quite expensive. The restaurant is take out only and open only a few hours each day. We waited outside while our meal was made and it seemed like the overhead of the business did not justify the price. I would have the shrimp again but probably not the garlic rice. Hope that helps.

This is a new restaurant that just opened on September 24, 2010
The place was very no frills and just a few tables with chairs. No ambiance or decor or anything hawaiian on the walls. The food was average as the vegetables with my tofu were cabbage, celery and onions. Nothing special and no chinese veggies such as bokchoy. The mixed plate was just plain and no flavors as lacked sauce and no garlic or spices were used.
Couldn't be happier to have a new dining option in the Napili/Kapalua area. They are open 8 to 2, and then 5-9 closed Sunday? Morning/Lunch Service is self order, items freshly prepared, names called to pick up. You seat yourself. Dinner dining traditional seated service. Big bar area and large separate seated area. The smashed burger was yummy with more fries than I could eat. Burger is 6 oz. Which was perfect. My friend had the a traditional breakfast Filipino breaksfast bowl with rice, eggs, and sausage. Will go back frequently.

First visit to Azeka's. We had always wanted to try but hadn't gotten around to it. They have a large menu. Most people get it to go because they only have a bar to sit at and a few outdoor tables. It was very warm inside with no air. The staff were very helpful and our food came out pretty quickly. The lemon chicken with capers, rice and grilled vegetables was really wonderful. Thanks for a good meal.

China Boat is located on Lower Honopiilani Road and serves decent Chinese food. When we want to eat Chinese food, this is one restaurant that we will think of.Service is good but the restaurant seems to need a little renovation. There is a private parking lot for the customers. They have a fairly busy take out business as well as the in house sales.

We had eaten here previously and felt it was acceptable, a few years ago. This time we ordered takeout, 3 rolls. The Tempura roll had tempura that wasn't freshly prepared in it. The Spicy Salmon skin roll was OK and the unagi roll was fine, nothing special; the prices seemed high for the quality. We come from the San Francisco Bay area where we get excellent, fresh sushi frequently (even served at our wedding), so expected this to continue to be high quality, but not to be. We gave this a rating of poor, because the quality was average but the price was not worth it.

We looked for some place to eat which would not be upscale but solid in terms of food, quality and reviews. This restaurant is in the middle of some shopping area, probably, would not have found it were it not for the reviews. We didn't see too many tourists, seemed mostly locals, which is a good sign for us. Menu is extensive and we ordered the short ribs, curry noodles and a pork dish. Must say food tasted amazing. Definitely an Asian/Philippine twist, perfectly seasoned and good portions. Very efficient service and nice staff. Good valu for money considering you are in Maui.

We arrived on Maui in the afternoon, checked into our hotel and made our way to Sansei Sushi for our first meal. It did not disappoint. I had read to be in line 15 minutes before opening time. If you have reservations, stand in the line to the right, if you donât stand in the line to the left. We did have reservations and got right in. We wanted to do the happy hour which is 25% off. Be prepared to order quick though. You only have a certain window to get your food ordered. We had a number of dishes and all were fantastic. Butter fish and calamari were standouts. Their Flying Fish Roe/Tobiko Nigiri was a dream come true! (pic attached).A wonderful way to start our weeklong magical stay in Maui!Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to post your excellent review and comments. We appreciate them very much. And we appreciate you choosing Sansei for the start of your Maui vacation!
