Nestled in the heart of downtown Johnstown is PRESS bistro. Enjoy a coffee, some breakfast, or the best meal in town while you enjoy the scenic and historic Central Park.
Press Bistro is located just across form the park in central Johnstown, so the large plate glass windows were filled with greenery during our visit. The menu was interesting and prices reasonable. my only complaint was that i had ordered one dish and received another, and was unable to make changes once i had eaten enough of the dish to realize the mistake. Thanks for leaving us a review, Judith. We appreciate all your feedback - good and bad - because we will use the information to continue to improve our guests' experiences! Hopefully we will have the pleasure of serving you again soon.

I wanted to give the Service, food and value all a 5 but I couldn't get the buttons below to work. 5's all the way. They have a very nice variety of foods to choose from. There is also a banquet room for luncheons , dinners and private function and reception. They offer Chinese, American, hot foods, salad and seafood. Lunch buffet is Monday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm for $7.25, kids eat for less. Dinner buffet is Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm $10.95, kids eat for less. Friday & Saturday the hours are 4 pm to 9 pm for $11.95, kids eat for less. They offer a Sunday Brunch 11 am to 3:30 pm for $8.89, kids eat for less. This day the Children under 4 are free. They offer a carry out Buffet too. If you don't want the buffet you can also order from their menu. Many varieties of the following: Appetizers, soup, chow mien, fried rice, like me in, chicken, pork, beef, jumbo shrimp and vegetables. We tried the pork egg roll, perfectly done green beans, vegetable fried rice, beef with broccoli, coconut chicken, Singapore chicken, pepper steak with onions, beef with mushrooms and chicken cashew nuts. They offer water, tea, coffee and soda for drinks. From the take out menu they have 20 varieties of special combinations. There is also 14 Chef's Specialities. Nice selection for dessert as well. Sure hope this helps you and give it a try when your in the area. We were so happy we choose here for our date day meal.

Hibachi
Date night with hubby at this place. Hibachi is the way to go and that was our choice. Everything was delicious: fried rice, vegetables, filet mignon, and lobster. The chef who performed our hibachi experience kept us laughing and having a blast. Highlights of the performance was the knife/spatula tricks and fire onion. Restaurant and bathroom facilities are clean and nice. Its a little pricey, but this is what you should expect when you have dinner and a show. Make sure to ask for the "yummy" sauce. (Yes, that is what its really called.) We definitely plan on returning in the future with our family. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, I highly suggest that you do! Also, make sure you have time to relax so you can enjoy your live action hibachi experience.

Given it's small size, and seating capacity, I guess you could classify this as a "Hole-In-The-Wall" kinda place - with that meant as a HUGE compliment. The menu is extensive and VERY well sectioned off (there is NO buffet). Our party of 4 each had something different, and "sampling" was in order.EVERYTHING was delicious - portions were MORE than generous - and special requests were handled with swiftness. One key to success here is Sammy - the man of many hats:Owner/Greeter/Waiter/Stand Up Comedian.................. he makes you feel genuinely welcome, and makes it fun being there. This HAS to be the best Chinese in town - HANDS DOWN.

Actually the restaurant has American, Korean, Italian & Greek food. Also sushi. Interesting menu. Worth including on Trip Advisor. Tables cloths and cloth napkins!
Our family was celebrating a birthday and decided to try this place just O.K . Our waitress was great but about 4 other servers were hanging outside the kitchen socializing with one another very loudly and with offsetting language for a family dinner. Food was ok but $$$ . Sushi was good but very small portions.
