Fresh clean Asian food. The menu shows a mix of Thai, Japanese and Chinese. I didn't try the sushi. I'm surprised this place was busier! We had the Tom Yum soup, seafood dumplings(homemade for sure!) fried rice and pork belly udon. Definitely recommend. They also offer a spicy scale 1-5 which is helpful.

We have heard about this restaurant for years, but didn't decide to go there until recently because they have GLUTEN FREE entrees (which my wife must have.. We have now been there for one dinner and one lunch. Both times we have had excellent food and service. The prices are very reasonable and the servings large. I am slowly working my way through the menu and enjoying the experience. I must say the black bean sauce is the absolute best I have ever had. If you want some good Chinese food in Howard County, MD, this is the place to go.

The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and the food came very fast. We ate inside and came here on our way home from a trip. The bread on the sandwich was particularly good and the citrus sesame chicken bowl with white rice and veggies was very flavorful. Would come again!

Our favorite Thai take out restaurant closed a couple years ago and ever since then I've been on the hunt for a place that makes good Red Chicken Curry (native Thai spicy). Tried a couple near our home-- they were okay but nothing I'd rush back for. Having exhausted the options that were very close we decided to broaden our horizons and decided to look farther afield. I had eaten lunch at this place while visiting a client in the area and remembered it as pretty decent. We placed our order and drove out 20 minutes to get it. What a disappointment. The dish was like 95% undercooked vegetables. I had to comb through it to excavate what tiny shreds of flavorless chicken there were to try to satisfy my appetite. Sauce/broth was nondescript and barely had any kick at all. I tend to be a fairly forgiving diner-- but this was close to inedible. After I sifted through and ate the little shreds of chicken I pitched the rest of the dish (felt like there was a lb. of it) down the garbage disposal. Maybe they were just having a bad day in the kitchen but it would take a lot for me to give them another chance.

Who knew there would be this many choices for Vietnamese/Asian in the area to choose from. Several looked good, decided on An Loi. Good idea.In a small strip mall off Snowden River Pkwy and near Rt 32. Small, clean, basic furnishings. Very good menu with a wide variety of traditional choices and a few I had not seen before. Couple of summer rolls to start - moist and nicely sized. On to Grilled Beef with Bun/Vermicelli - again, nice portion, served fast and hot. And of course - a sucker for iced Vietnamese coffee - Yum! Maybe next time work up the courage to try the Bubble Tea.Fast, friendly service, nice place, very good food - well worth stopping in.

Spice n Curry is a very small Indian restaurant in, of all places, Elkridge, MD. Sparse decor, but that is not any indication of their food or service, both of which are excellent. Service is especially good, but it takes awhile to get the food - it is not a fast food place and it is worth the wait. Portions are generous.I am no Indian food expert, but all I can tell you is that both me and my wife have enjoyed both of our recent visits. I have had each of their luncheon and weekend special Thali dishes. Myself once with meat and once vegetarian - both excellent. My wife has had a goat dish and the meat Thai and she rates them both excellent.Their Madras coffee is very good - milky and comforting. Also their mango lassi is very good - much more thick than others we have had, and very sweet, but really very good. My wife and I have eaten in Indian restaurants in London, Paris, Scotland and the U.S. and while each one of them is somewhat different, we love Indian cuisine and Spice n Curry easily holds its own - in our opinion. While "Spicy" is part of its name, the hot part of spicy is, I would say, muted. I am positive that, if you want a more spicy meal, they would accommodate you. And, they do have a Vindaloo item on the menu. This is not a 4-star experience, so if you are looking for that, go to New York or London or Paris and pay 10 times as much. It is simply an excellent place to eat - food, price and service combined.I have to add a qualifying comment - I only rated the food 4 stars for one reason. If Trip Advisor had 1/2 star steps, I would have rated it 4 1/2 stars. We have eaten in some thrillingly wonderful places in our travels and my rating has to take into consideration those places. If this were the only Indian restaurant at which I had had the pleasure of eating, I would have rated the food 5 stars. Having said that, I have been strikingly surprised that this tiny, few-employee, simple restaurant, located in a strip mall across from a Costco and behind a 7-Eleven, is so pleasing and tasty. I hesitate to recommend it this highly, solely for selfish reasons -- I want to be able to get in to eat whenever we are in the area, rather than be turned away because its clientele grows too large.Closed Mondays; other days, 11:30am-2:30pm and 5:30pm-9:30pm. We were there Saturday 2/25. Not the greatest of ambiance, but the food was great. There were many Vietnamese in the restaurant and that speaks towards the authenticity of the food. We split a chowfoon and two appetizers. Delicious. The rolls with the peanut sauce was especially good.

We normally save our visits to Sushi Sono for special occasions. Let me preface my comments by noting that I judge my Sushi by a single standard...the quality of its Uni! Not the rolls or the nigiri...the Uni. For the uninitiated, Uni is sea urchin. It looks like chicken entrails and the mouthfeel ox the same. It must be absolutely fresh or it takes on an essence of ammonia and the texture is not as velvety as the top samples of this delectable gift from the sea. While waiting on appetizers and drinks(Sapporo or Kirin Ichiban only please) the folks know that I will always ask to if they have Uni. If a place says no thatâs strike one. Itâs expensive and if nobody orders it, please reference the afore mentioned comment on freshness. Iâll then ask to sample it with our appetizer order. If it passes the test and the order goes forward. If not, itâs a plan vanilla one. Iâve never had to go plain vanilla at Sono. The rest of the menu is very creative.
I went here for a quick bite to eat during the week. The restaurant was clean, but it was freezing inside. I had the two entrees and side: mushroom & chicken, beef and broccoli and chow mein. My husband had a kid's meal with shrimp and rice. The chicken and beef was gross. The food was almost as bad as the terrible Panda Express that I used to eat at in my university days. It was overpriced - not sure why I paid so much for such a bad fast food meal.

Enjoyed a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean, staff was courteous and it had a cozy atmosphere. The Chinese music playing in the background seemed a little off but was nice. The food was excellent. We tried five specialty rolls, tempura veggies and tempura softshell crab. Everyone was satisfied. The pricing however seemed high at roughly $35 per person including tips. This may be normal for Maryland but compared to our experiences in Tampa it was double the cost.
