After many recommendations from friends, four of us went to Busaba's on a Sunday evening. Showing up just 45 minutes before closing, the restaurant was empty and we were greeted immediately by the owner and a waiter. Drinks arrived promptly and the food shortly after. The food was very tasty and not over spiced as it can be in some restaurants. Our friends are on the timid side when it comes to heat and they were thrilled. The waiter always brings spices to heat your dinner up if you so desire...which my wife and I did. Starting with the very tasty Thai Spring Rolls and the Beef Satay, we knew we were in for a treat. The Pad Thai was the best my wife has ever had, our friends each had the Pad Kra Pao and the Pad King and couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I had the Pad Ke Mauw which uses a wider noodle than most of the Pad dishes and was new to me. My dinner was very tasty, plentiful and satisfying. We could not have wished for anything more!!! During dinner the owner, and husband of the chef, comes to your table and greets you and talks about the food, spices, and history of the restaurant. GO!....GO NOW!!

We just returned from Eastern Washington where the Chinese food was terrible. Nice to be back where it's authentic and good. Walked past the kitchen after we ordered and they were preparing it fresh. Just a small place in a small delta town, but very good Chinese food.

Are you a lover of Sichuan Chinese food? Me too!! My wife is an excellent cook, and comes from Chengdu, China. We LOVE going to this restaurant for food excellence, the friendly owner/operators, and the Old World feel of this historic eatery! Casual dining delight, in looks, food and dress!Nestled directly above the ancient village of Locke, settled by early Chinese workers that helped to build the river levies and harvested the many crops grown in this Delta region. Some remaining buildings are now museums and art galleries, other others restored pubs, book shop, etc. about 65 active residents remain in the village. Just across the levy road is the bucolic Sacramento River, boating and a sprawling, famous wine tasting industry! Treat yourself for lunch or later!
