Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Ieper (Ypres). An ancient city in the Flemish province of West Flanders, Ieper (as it’s known in the Flemish tongue) has enjoyed financial and cultural status since the 12th century. Today, visitors can check out remnants of its impressive past, including ramparts that date back to 1385 and an historic moat, which now is a haven for wildlife. Ieper found itself in the middle of World War I and suffered tremendous damage to all of its buildings, but has been both reconstructed in its medieval style and built up with modern structures.

Have eaten here many times in the past but in my last visit I found it poor compared with how it was six months ago. Service was poor, waitress attending to her young child in between serving. Chicken noodles looked as if they were instant noodles with some chicken added and cost about 15 euros. Would only accept cash payment, said there was a problem with the card reader.

Canât give this place enough praise, I was with a party of 12, it was 10pm on a Sunday and every where else had refused our custom, but not this one, they literally reopened for us, they then furnished us with excellent food and drink, and showed infinite patient as the time past, even to the point staff left for home before us, I really do recommend this restaurant to anyone in the city.
