This is a must try Chinese place. I only found out about it by word of mouth. They really need to advertise. Inside it looks like a hole in the wall. They make out best by take out. This restaurant is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I am giving this a 5 rating on the food itself, not the ambiance. The ambiance is a 1, but the food is one of the best you will ever have for Chinese. The General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef were great. The Hot and Sour Soup is the best I ever had. This is a must try. Don't go by some bad ratings saying about how dirty it is and had to throw the food out. That truly was their loss. This place is a keeper. A true hidden gem!

Went there on a Saturday night. Buffet was awful-looking, and the hostess said it was not available. We quickly determined one or many people had called off work because the hostess then took our orders. Even more troubling, two small children delivered our silverware, napkins, and water. They even brought out hot tea, which I found troubling and somewhat dangerous. After ordering from the menu, we waited a pretty long time for our food to arrive. In the interim, I noticed that the floor was in dire need of cleaning. When the food arrived, however, it was actually quite good. Obviously somebody with ability was working in the kitchen. Overall, I do not think that there is a lack of passion to lay at the feet of the owners. Perhaps they're only issue was not adequate staffing or hiring the wrong people. This restaurant could be good but it needs many improvements, starting with human resources and more attention to basics.

Tokyo Diner is a no frills experience, located in a shopping plaza. The ambiance wasn't anything fancy to look at...somewhat generic and plain, but not distasteful. Service/seating was prompt. Drink orders taken and filled quickly. Went to lunch here with coworkers - a party of 8, not expecting much - but was pleasantly surprised that this was a decent place for Japanese. We did the hibachi thing - which is served with onion soup, steamed and grilled vegetables and rice. The onion soup was served in a small bowl, and was very tasty and enjoyed by everyone. Followed by the standard entree mixture of rice with egg, and choice of shrimp, chicken or steak. The lunch portion was more than enough food with half a plate of rice along with veggies and some meat. One colleague ordered a sushi item and she was satisfied with her choices. The habachi isn't as much of a show as other places, but it was entertaining and the food was satisfying.We had requested separate checks, yet we were billed with 2 people per check...not a big deal, but it was not announced to us when presented with the bills.

We've ordered from here lots of times because they deliver. Generally speaking you get a hot, generous, delicious serving. Tonight we ordered steamed dumplings. While the filling was good tasting they were surrounded with way too much dough. Very disappointing. We can't remember if this is par for the course, but probably won't order them again. I ordered a shrimp egg roll which I was happy with. My husband ordered Ying Yang for the first time and wasn't too impressed. I ordered Singapore Rice Noodles and although I don't care for curry for some strange reason I love this dish! They make it a little spicier than I've had other places but still delicious. Will we order again? You bet it's one of the best options for this area AND they deliver!

We have eaten here 5-6 times, with many more to come. They use fresh vegetables, NOT out of a frozen bag, like a lot of them do. Recently opened up. All the meals we got here were very good. Seems like they do a lot of take out. Our take out meals were always hot, and on time. We will return, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I found this gem on TripAdvisor and couldn't be happier. The food was great. We brought home Combination Platters of Shrimp & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, Teriyaki Chicken, and Pepper Steak with Onions. Each dish was so fresh tasting and the Pork Fried Rice was perfect. I requested Shrimp Egg Rolls instead of regular and was easily accommodated. We also had an order of Shrimp Fried Rice and I requested extra vegetables. All this food for approximately $30.00, and well worth every penny. I can't wait to go back.
