My first time coming here. Wow, what a great experience from the atmoshere to the staff to the food. So much to choose from. I got the noodles with the thin sliced beef and i added lime to it. It really enhanced the flavor. It was so good i ordered some to go. The eggrolls are good too. Yummy!

On a recent business trip with my husband to Houston, my sons and I wanted Chinese food. We ordered delivery to our hotel. The food arrived sooner than the promised time and we ordered during the lunch rush. The delivery guy was very nice. I ordered the mushroom chicken. It was not what I expected nor what I was used to, it was more like what I know to be Moo Goo Gai Pan but either way it was very delicious! My sons ordered the kids fried rice and the kids lo mein. The portions were huge!!!! We are big eaters and I dare say the kids portions could probably feed an adult. We also got wonton soup and it was great as well. We will definitely order from here the next time we are in town!!!

Very authentic, fresh, delicious food! We've been several times, and everything we have tried has been great! Fresh ingredients, LOTS of food, and great prices! You will be amazed at how much food is included in your order; we always leave with enough food for another meal! Try the WOW Wonton Soup and the duck! There's nothing else like this place in the area, and I sure do hope they stick around! (Based on the parking lot and full tables inside, I don't think they are going anywhere!)

We like this spot. Near Fall Creek, and right off the beltway. Comfy and inviting, with a large dining area and a long bar. There is a good array of Asian dishes, and the sushi is very good. We had the Mardi Gras, with crayfish, and another with salmon and jalapeño. Tasty. There is are good sake, Japanese whisky, and wine selections and full bar. They are conversant with gluten free issues. Service is good and prices fair.

We had an overnight at a hotel close to the airport and decided to order in from this restaurant. We opted for 2 dinner combination meals and chose beef lo mein for one meal and kung pO chicken for the other. Both meals were $7.50 each and came with rice, an egg roll and your choice of soup. We chose one wonton soup and one hot and sour soup. Delivery was free, and our food arrived in under half an hour. There was more than enough food in one meal to feed both of us. And - wow - was it ever delicious!! Definitely the best Kung PO chicken ever. The woman who took our order was very friendly and she read the order back to us and explained the items we were ordering, to make sure we got what we really wanted. I would definitely order from China River again, and I give them a solid "excellent" rating.

I was recently in Humble visiting relatives and stopped by Ginger Cafe to have dinner. If you like sushi, and are looking for a relaxed, good, yet not-so-fancy place to meet with friends or family, look no more. Ginger Cafe has quite a selection, the prices are reasonable, the service was excellent, and the whole experience was fantastic. Definitely a must-go if you are in Humble.

I really wanted to like this place as I enjoy most types of Asian cuisine. I will admit my experience is limited to the US. However, the couple that was with us had spent quite a bit of time in Thailand and they were not impressed either. It started with us walking in the door. We were not escorted to our table. The guy at the bar pointed to a table across the room and it was up to us to figure out which one he meant. The atmosphere is OK - sparse in decor and the chairs are mismatched. Our initial service was good but after food was served, we never really saw our server. The Tom Yum soup was nothing like I had ever seen - chicken pieces in tomato broth. The couple that was with us didn't recognize it either, The menu said "jasmine rice" would be served with certain entrees. We received regular white steamed rice and the server told us they were the same thing. No, they are not. We have all had jasmine rice before and this wasn't it. I had the Seafood Pad Thai and this was the first time I had tried it. Is it supposed to be so sweet? Noodles and seafood were terribly overcooked except for the scallops. The mussels and squid were rubbery and the mussels had a muddy flavor. I couldn't finish them. I did enjoy the Thai dumplings as an appetizer and the couple with us had the wings and enjoyed those as well. My husband had the green curry and said it was OK. Maybe this was just a bad night. I read all the reviews and was really looking forward to going to this restaurant. I'm not sure I will go back.

Asian City is a locally owned Asian themed restaurant. We have been opened for 20 years now. We serve a wide variety of dishes from Chinese cuisine to Hibachi to Sushi. There is always something for everyone here. We have a full bar with many import beers
Iâve been to China 6 times. Been to 1/2 the provinces. This isnât a Chinese restaurant! But if youâve only eaten Chinese-American food youâll like this. Too salty and too sweet. We had: Vegetable dumplings were acceptable. The sauce was sweet. Sizzling beef and scallops. SALTY. Tons of beef. 3 rubbery scallopsââï¸Hot and spicy green beans. Gloppy sweet sauce. This wouldnât be called hot by anyoneâs standards. Not even Tabasco hot. The water even tasted bad!
