This has been in town for over 20 years and has a reputation for being "gourmet" Chinese food. The rooms (there are two) are small and nicely appointed. Linen on the tables, quiet carpeting, flowered wallpaper. All befitting the tea room it was previously (and before that a car dealership!) They have a fairly new chef/cook and I would say the food is still very good, but nothing to rave about. "Gourmet" it is not and not all that different from many other Asian restaurants in the area...just more expensive and nicer setting. The menu is extensive, there are size options and the portions generous. You may need reservations on a weekend night and definately for the special events. Their holiday offerings are indeed special. If you want a nice evening out with Chinese food as your choice, go here.

The restaurant has nice Asian decor and quick service. The mango chicken and golden lotus appetizers are my favorite but the pad Thai is excellent also. I found the restaurant very willing to accommodate requests for allergies and amount of spicing in their dishes.

Took my entire family there for my husband's birthday celebration. All the men in my family are sushi afficionados, and they were all very happy with the selection the chef whipped up for them. The other food the rest of us selected was fantastic. Marco, our waiter, is the absolute best!
