A Family Thai Restaurant. One of the first Thai Restaurant in Sydney.
Have been coming here for years. Always great food and friendly efficent service. Very reasonably priced and their signature dishes are very pleasant indeed. Definitely recommended for a casual and very tasty meal.

I have enjoyed dining at the Homebush Wok Inn for a number of years now. The standout is the consistently-great food. I've probably dined there about 20 times, and have never had a bad experience. The food is fresh, crisp and colourful, and the flavours are wonderful. The meals are very well-priced, too. Recently three of us ordered a shared entree, and three mains - which cost less than $20 per head. The restaurant is always very clean, and I believe it got a 5-star rating when a group of restaurants in Homebush were rated on their cleanliness. Although the decor is simple, the place always seems to have a welcoming and homely atmosphere about it. The staff are always happy and smiling, and are willing to please.Although I have since moved quite a distance and no longer have the luxury of having this restaurant just down the road, it still remains the half-way meeting place for lunch or dinner with friends, or picking up a take-away if I'm passing through the area.A well-deserved 5-star rating!

We were regular customers until today. Girl at the front desk was extremely rude. Told us our table would be ready in 5 mins, came back and she had given it to another family because "they look like you". Extremely racist and unaccomodating. No apology whatsoever and ruined our planned family dinner. We used to go almost every week as a large family, not because the food is amazing, but purely because it is one of the only non-Korean restaurants in the area. To call it average would be a long shot- the seafood is often rotten and frozen so don't ever order. The rice is clumped together and the sauces disgusting at times. Even the staple chilli basil sauce is embarrassing for a Thai restaurant. The only thing they know how to do is fry food (tofu, ice cream etc). Very disappointed by the terrible service. Go elsewhere before you even step into this terrible restaurant.

This Thai restaurant is at a suburban location (North Strathfield), but is not your average Thai. A friend travels from Eastern Sydney for their green curry. We like their mussaman lamb (not always available, and not through online order) with rotees, and actually stopped ordering this dish in other thai restaurants because they just don't get anywhere near it. The "pla rod prik" fish comes with a sauce so delicious that we take it home to use it on random home cooked meals, it makes us feel like good chefs. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is nice while the prices are pretty decent.

After reading earlier reviews, I booked for 3 of us to guarantee we could eat before the show. Despite the queue for tables, our meals arrived relatively quickly (although not all at once, and the first main arrived quite some time before the rice). Serving sizes and prices were reasonable, as was the service - although we never received one of the drinks ordered but they tried to charge for it at the end. The penang curry was like nothing I've ever had before, more reminiscent of a satay, but I really enjoyed the lemongrass with more than a hint of chilli - just how I like it! The cashew and chilli dish was also good, and the servings of tea generous. I wasn't expecting too much given the location and peak demand, but notwithstanding the timing inconsistencies (at least we were sharing so could better make the most of things) I enjoyed the food and will likely eat there again next time I'm seeing a show at Olympic Park.

A first time user of this restaurant and I was very impressed with the speed, friendliness and quality of the food from this place.Probably some of the best deep fried calamari Iâve tasted. The crumb base had a definitive taste to it - a little like the zinger batter from KFC but without the chilli. Thought to insert holes at the top of the styrofoam to release the steam and keep the food warm and dry was an added touch greatly appreciated.Well done guys - weâll be eating there again.

Ordered the rare beef pho medium size, seafood pho small size and salt and pepper prawns/calamari as a side. The broth is the most important component with Pho noodle soups. Each time we eat at a Vietnamese restaurant, we tend to always order a beef and seafood pho. Some places have the same broth for Pho but different toppings wether it be a beef, chicken or seafood. This place had a different broth for their beef and seafood, which I liked and both soups were yum! Their serving is really generous too. I highly recommend this place and would come back again.

Thousand Island Spices is serving up all your favourite Indian cuisine. You can dine with us at our restaurant or order online for pick or delivery.
This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney. I have taken so many of my friends and family to this place over the years. But, I had a few of bad experiences recently. I visited last week with my family from overseas only to show them my favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney when the food turned out to be pathetic. I complained to the waitress who told me that the food for our table was cooked by someone else as the chef was away at that moment. She sent complimentary deserts for our table which was also pathetic and which we didn't want. I was shocked to see how casual they were about the incident and did nothing much to offer remedy even when she knew I am very regular there. I won't visit this place anymore. Luckily, I have found equally good places, if not better.

The restaurant is on the Liverpool Road in Burwood and getting parking can be a challenge. The food here is awesome and authentic Indian. We had the vegetable platter, assortment of breads, village special chicken curry and paneer kurchan. All of them were lip smacking good. The ambiance is ok but not fine dining. The service is very friendly and prompt.
