We are in Daytona Beach on vacation. It was the Saturday before Easter, and it was late and didn't want to go anywhere, so we decided on China House delivery. It took 35-45 minutes to deliver $65 worth of Chinese, which wasn't bad. Five combination dinners, two appetizers, three extra egg rolls, and a quart of soup for $65. Everyone got two + meals out of their dinner. Everything tasted great. Would order again in a heartbeat. If you're craving Chinese food, China House is a great choice.

5 adults stopped for lunch and couldn't have been happier. All very fresh and some of the best thai food I've eaten. Panang Curry was excellent with just the right amount of heat. Pineapple fried rice was a first and really just excellent. Definitely recommend and the prices were very fair.

We were at a conference and so happy to see this place as we like to try a variety of dishes from different cultures. We both ordered different noodle broth dishes, medium serving was HUGE so we had enough to take back to the condo for next day breakfast. Food, service were fine and price was affordable. idcuiseen

My wife and I were really impressed with our first visit to Thai Woodhouse. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, our server was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options, and the two dishes we had (ginger chicken stir fry and panang curry chicken) were delicious. We also had an order of 'fresh rolls' which were indeed fresh and tasty and served with a spot on peanut sauce. We've eaten at many Thai restaurants and suffered through various versions of this, from watery to glue-like. The Woodhouse version was perfect, with just a bit of heat to accent the flavor. The menu offers a lot of choices; you'll find various stir fry options, rice and noodle dishes, curries, and even pho. With all of these dishes you pick the meat, choice of five vegetables (out of ten offered), type of noodle and rice, and heat level 1 through 5. Our server did a great job of explaining the process and it really is a nice concept to customize the ingredients to your liking. We're not locals but I really hope people in the area embrace this restaurant because it deserves to succeed. We were there on a Friday for lunch a bit before noon and saw only two other couples. As we were walking out I noticed a barely mediocre chain restaurant across the street with a full parking lot.....go figure.

I noticed that this restaurant had reopened with the new owners. When I first visited I was surprised at the cleanliness and wonderful waitress/owner serving the patrons. I wanted to compare this location with the other local Thai restaurants I've visited in the past. The lunch offerings @ $7.25 cannot be beat. The food is spectacular and the chilled water is served in a very nice glass bottle. On my second visit for lunch I had the Panaeng Curry which is served with a large quantity of rice. Both visits were memorable and I can't wait to try the dinner menu as they offer several fish entrees as well as Calamari. Any questions - feel free to contact me

Our family arrived to an empty restaurant at 5:30pm and were greeted by the hostess/waitress and grabbed seats at the sushi bar. Soon after, it started to fill up with locals and a Japanese family who ordered authentic Japanese dishes not on the menu. There were so many specialty rolls including plenty of cooked ones for those who donât care for the raw choices. We ordered the chicken on a stick satay-type appetizer along with spring rolls which were fantastic, and a fresh salad with ginger dressing and miso soup to start. I ordered the special of the day which was flounder (lightly fried) with asparagus, eel sauce, cucumber, crunch & special sauce (mayo based), and it was very good. Other selections included spider roll, oh-my-god roll, spicy California roll, and jalapeño shrimp tempura roll. All were fresh and deliciousâexcellent by any standard!Donât expect choices like bento boxes, noodle dishes or teriyakiâit is pretty much a sushi place (unless you speak Japanese and can order special request items). Itâs casual, and has a couple of TV screens alternating through mostly travel photographs of Japan. Kids are fine, and prices are reasonable. Sushi chefs were friendly and had a good sense of humor. Service was great. Look for the window with the big white question mark, located next to a night club. There really isnât a sign other than a small one on the window.

Charming atmosphere, delicious food, substantial portions, and all at a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for?I had the duck special and it was outstanding. My wife, who needs gluten free items was pleased to find at least 3/4 of the menu was available to her. She had the pumpkin curry and loved it. Oh, and they have sake juice boxes. Fun and tasty. Our first time here, but definitely not our last.

This place is temporarily closed due to owner's vacation. It will re open on Friday April 12, 2019.
We have been here at least 4 times in the last three years and one can see the attention to detail.Fresh paint, some new furniture and a menu that keeps evolving by including different dishes. The staff is always attentive and the location downtown on beach street is very convenient. Free parking and a pleasnt walk after dining

The Exceptional Sushi Experience
Smallish sushi house that was popular and crowded. Even though we had a reservation and we were on time, we were told that "we really don't take reservations, that was just for us so we had an idea who was coming." Well that is just BS.Anyway, the fish was fresh and well prepared, but nothing out of the ordinary, but...this is a resort town, and the fact that they take as much care as they do is commendable.Beer, wine and sake.We were sent there by our local friends, who highly recommended it. As I noted, it is very good, but very average.
