The population was 7,960 at the 2010 census, up from 6,200 in 2000. Hailey is the site of Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), the airport for the resort area of Sun Valley/Ketchum, 12 miles (19 km) north. The town of Bellevue is a few miles south. From 1882 to 1895, Hailey was the county seat of now-defunct Alturas County.

The four of us were delighted with our dinner at Dang's. The service was quite good, knowledgeable and attentive, and all the dishes were delicious. I had a very good stir fry, others had sushi, and one had curry. Everyone was pleased with the flavors and ingredients. They can make it spicy or keep it mild. Pleasant setting and very efficient for our pre-theater time frame. Highly recommended.

We were visiting good friends in Hailey and for our last night they suggested this Asian restaurant which surprised us because one of them does not eat fish. Reservations had been made well in advance because I understand that it is very popular.My wife and I shared three 8 piece rolls that were excellent and I forget what else we had but I was surprised how reasonable the bill was for a chic Sun Valley restaurant.

This is our favorite date night restaurant.The food is very good.Panang Curry is always excellent. Service is nice and friendly. Try their Sticky Rice for dessert.I would recommend this restaurant if you want great Thai food in Hailey.Enjoy!
