This is a fun place to go with family or, more particularly, friends. I've honestly only ever been for their karaoke nights, but I've had a good experience each time. The drinks are cheap but not watered down, and the food is fine. Nothing to write home about, but you'll leave satisfied.

TL;DR:This place rates "OKAY" -- This from the "tiki restaurant" perspective (old-style, New England, Polynesian/Chinese food). High marks for the spare ribs and beef teriyaki. The main food seemed overly bland to me, and the pork fried rice (while having all the right ingredients) didn't seem to have been freshly made.Longer and More Detailed:I like both "tiki restaurant" Chinese food as made in New England, and actual Chinese food like people in China and Taiwan eat. They're too entirely different cuisines. This review is from the "tiki restaurant" perspective, emphasizing the old New England style standards that no actual Chinese person would recognize (chicken fingers, spare ribs, chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, lobster sauce).I ordered takeout, mid-day on a Saturday. Not exactly the most common time.PuPu Platter: Tasty enough, but the deep fried food was SUPER greasy. I mean, I *get* that it's deep fried (and the breading/coating was definitely tasty) but it was, literally, dripping with grease. Oh, the beef teriyaki and the (bone-in) spare ribs were excellent. Definitely recommended.Chix Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice (PFR) Lobster Sauce: Decent, but everything was bland. The PFR *looked* nice -- dark color, nice little bits of browned onion, and pork. But it seemed like it had been sitting around awhile and probably reheated. The rice was kind of starchy (like when I bring home PFR and re-heat it quickly the next day). I want my Lobster Sauce to have a nice garlic flavor, with ginger (and, please, black bean). I found most of this flavor to be missing. Plenty of ground beef, pretty looking dark brown sauce, but missing flavor. The Chicken Chow Mein was good. Nice and crispy, lots of bean sprouts. Not overly sweet. This was perhaps the best dish of the bunch. The portions were VERY plentiful. I would say large, even. The restaurant gets extra points for a SUPER easy and efficient mechanism that lets you order online and specify the time you intend to pick-up your food. It worked flawlessly. Also, extra points for doing a *particularly* nice job of packing the to-go food. Good quality containers, properly sealed, and thoughtfully arranged in the take-out bag. Too often I find the to-go packaging to be sloppy and annoying. Obviously, somebody put some thought into this... which makes sense for a restaurant that does a massive pile of take out orders. In summary: OK.

Read somewhere that this was the best Chinese restaurant in NH. Naturally we needed to try it. Arrived around 3pm on a Saturday. Greeted and seated right away. Ordered our usual - egg rolls, steamed Peking dumplings, crab rangoon, house fried rice and General Gao's chicken. All items were very good and fresh. Friendly service but not overbearing. Fair prices. Good sized portions. Limited delivery area. Clean establishment (including restrooms) albeit a bit dated. Not a deterrent. Will be back.

Hope it doesn't continue... but definitely noticeable a new cook was in the house last week! Everything was a stark contrast to Chen's original food. The sushi roll was the same, so that has not changed. The pu pu was totally overcooked. Rice lacked flavor. The pad thai was bland and huge chunks of onion which was unusual.Hope the old chef is back!!Not a good visit.
