This place is really a "you want to come back again" place! Most of the staff are Nepalese and they serve their food with pride. The nepalese starters (momo) are outstanding, fresh, delicious.Eat in is an experience with pictures from the Himalaya on the walls and of course also some touristic places in Nepal.I have eaten there several times, also had delivery and never anything to complain about (ok, some of the waiters struggle with English).Definitively en enrichment for Ridgewood!

We went here for our grandson's 11th birthday. It seems quite the place to celebrate kid's birthdays. Our chef was quite efficient and put on a good show, even tossing clumps of rice into our mouths. Interestingly, he was Hispanic, not Japanese. We ordered the sirloin steaks which were a nice size and cooked well. The meal was good and we wound up taking some of it home. The negative? On the whole, I thought it was little pricey. The base price was $24 for our meal, but if you wanted, you could "upgrade" from white rice to fried rice at additional cost. Really? Wines and beers were also on the high side. You might want to come at lunch time, when prices will be more reasonable.

Worth the trip to Elmhurst Queens to sample the richly flavored Thai dishes served in this small, local restaurant. Our fave: spicy, limey Larb (with ground pork). Fabulous fried red snapper with papaya salad and anything with Penang curry are also memorable. We hear they have a location at the Chelsea Market in Manhattan but havenât checked it out yet. The chef in Queens is good enough for us!

Our group of four were seated along the long bench picnic style tables and made comfortable with good drinks. One of our party wasn't a sushi person but the option of pork chops was welcomed and was delicious. The staff was very helpful at making suggestions and the recommendations were yummy. We very much enjoyed our dinner and experience.

My first visit to Nur Thai was amazing. They have the most delicious Thai coffee, great service and amazing food. Everything we tried was great - the spring rolls, veggie dumplings, the various fried rice dishes, and the pad Thai! Our server, Fadan, was so kind, helpful and very accommodating of our dietary restrictions. The prices are VERY reasonable, we each had coffee, apps and lunch for under $20 a person. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The restaurant has added more space and maintains its clean, friendly atmosphere with great service, as well as the wonderful food they offer. On this visit the family decided to be adventurous and we ate some truly scrumptious stewed pork dishes, which I heartily recommend.
