Went to Buko looking for basic Japanese food: some sushi, tempura, teriyaki, etc. We were not disappointed. The combination platters give you a lot of food at reasonable prices. Very prettily plated. I had the nabeyaki udon, which was good but just a little salty. The restaurant is small and cozy. It appears to be family-run (not sure about that). Service was very good. The only improvement would be if they could turn up the A/C a little. It was a bit warm in the restaurant the evening we went there.
What a great first experience. Nice, modern vibe and super friendly staff!! One aspect of our visit we really appreciated was the knowledge the waitress had about the food and the passion she showed with some of her detailed explanations. We ended out getting three of the maki specials, plus some black snapper sushi and edamame. The sushi and the edamame were excellent and the maki rolls were solid as well. I would like to try a variety of other sushi and sashimi options in future trips. Definitely worth the trip off Brand Ave. down to Pacific to come to Moto!

I haven't been to Barrio Fiesta in years and it was my first time coming to this location. The space is small, but definitely festive with the many colors they have that ornate the place. Service was awesome, food wasn't bad either.I tried Kare-Kare, Lechon Paksiw, and Lumpiang Hiniraw. The food was delicious and it's served in mini pots. Really cute and very reminiscent of the Philippines. I don't know what it is about Filipino food that makes it so costly and the portions are so small. There were 6 pieces of meat in the lechon that is priced over $10. I don't get it. Most of the dishes were overfilled with veggies instead of actual content. Whatever.I really enjoyed the service as they were really attentive enough though the place was busy. There's plenty of compact parking in the plaza. I'd come back here again.

My best friend and I try and get together once a month. This month we chose âThe Americanaâ. For lunch we decided we would eat at Katsuya. When being seated outside I noticed the cushions at the tables were not the cleanest. The second thing I noticed was a wrinkled menu when I opened it. I was a bit surprised considering this was supposed to be a classy restaurant. We started off by ordering two glasses of wine. For lunch we ordered crispy brussel sprouts, ramen and spicy tuna on crispy rice. I requested no jalapeños on the spicy tuna. We found the crispy brussel sprouts to be good but not the best we have had. I was disappointed in the presentation and flavor of the spicy tuna on crispy rice. Boring all in all. Iâve head better elsewhere. My friend enjoyed her ramen. The service was mediocre. After tip we each paid $41. I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got. Overall neither one of us were impressed and would not return when visiting âThe Americanaâ. It's disheartening to read that this experience has jeopardized your future loyalty. We strive to make every aspect of our guests' visits fantastic, and we are truly sorry we fell short. Our leadership team would be grateful for the opportunity to learn how we can get you back in here for a 5-star experience, so please email [email protected]. Thank you.

Delicious! Lots of choices for pho soup - chicken, beef, veggie, meatball. Always get the meatball and raw sliced beef with extra veggies (mushrooms, green onion, broccoli). Lots of mint, basil, bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño on the side. Do not forget the hoisin sauce and sriracha. The shrimp spring rolls are very good. Next time want to try this dry, not in a broth. Very small place, so put your name on list and wait outside. Hard to accommodate large parties. Nothing fancy, but good cheap eats. Parking is on street only. Crowded at lunchtime.

From soup to dim sum to king crab legs, all was fresh and plentiful. Add the sushi and the clams and oysters and you have an invitation to leaving stuffed. The price is right and the service abundant.

I ordered the dinner plate that had Calif. sushi roll, tempura shrimp with tempura veggies, small salad, steam rice, beef teriaki.Plus, miso soup. You can choose any items you want. I am only showing you what I chose. My friend ordered totally different foods. Bought it to go. My friend's cat likes to eat the fresh cooked shrimp. She likes to toss it up in the air and let it drop in her mouth. True story. lol.

This place has the BEST buffet lunch I have tried. I usually go into such restaurants With reservations not expecting much in way of food or quality. This particular restaurant is an exception !!!Not only is lunch extremely reasonably priced at $16 per person for all you can eat, the quality of food was outstanding !!! They have a huge salad bar, sushi, sashimi, pasta, roast meats, seafood and a big selection of meats for teppanyaki !!! In my opinion, their sweet sour pork has got to be the best Iâve eaten anywhere !!!Definitely good food and extremely good value for money. A MUST TRY !!!

This extremely popular Asian gets mixed reviews as some of the dishes (string beans with garlic and cucumber salad) are outstanding whereas the dumplings are good (good use a little more seasoning and flavor) and the sticky rice dumplings are merely fair. Overall a very good experience. Go at off times to avoid a long wait!
