Things to do in Georgetown
we go to lily's regularly, but usually the location in georgetown. we have been at this location on a few occasions. the food is as good as the original, but it lacks in service. there was only one other table that was occupied, but the service was not there. we had to look for the server, most times, in order to get what we needed. it surprising, as the owner, helen, was there, but no getting involved. we will not go back to this location.

We are new to Georgetown and are so happy to have found a good Chinese food place that delivers. The food was fresh, flavourful and delivered promptly . We had the General Tso's chicken and the black bean chicken. Both were really good. Would recommend and will order again

I placed a delivery order for dinner from this restaurant last night, and what I received was the worst Chinese food I've ever had! Spring Rolls are usually crisp, tightly wrapped treats packed with deliciously seasoned veggies. The two so-called Spring Rolls I received from House of Buddha were large like egg rolls, with not much filling, and about 90% of that distasteful filling was celery slices, so celery was all you could taste. I took two bites of one roll and threw the rest away. I also ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls. They should call these dough balls, because there was so much thick, chewy dough on them that it was like eating doughnuts with chicken in the centre. And perhaps the worst part of the dinner was the General Tao Chicken. Their menu has a 2-pepper symbol beside this dish, indicating that it's spicy. Not only was I disappointed to discover that it wasn't spicy, it was totally tasteless! I had to pour some of the sweet & sour sauce from the chicken balls onto it to make it edible. Also, General Tao Chicken is supposed to have a crisp coating, and this chicken was definitely not crisp. Normally, I love having Chinese food leftovers the next day, but this food was so bad that I threw away all the leftovers. Whoever cooked this meal doesn't know anything about Chinese food, so if you love Chinese food, avoid this place, because it might turn you off Chinese food forever.

Staff friendly and helpful. Food was hot, good basic flavour, good portions, discount for cash, worth a stop for basic Chinese.

My husband and I love to go for a sushi date night every now and again. This is now the only place in town. Itâs always busy but weâve never had to wait for a table. Itâs pretty standard all you can eat sushi. Always seems fresh. Have had an issue with having things brought to our table that we didnât ask for. There is sometimes an issue with communication with the staff. Hard to get things like more water, napkins etc. But doesnât stop us from going.

Nice quiet restaurant with fantastic food. The sushi was of wonderful quality. And the miso soup was absolutely amazing. My only concern was The menu didnât have a lot of flexible options for ordering (and didnât always explain what food you would be ordering with certain specials).

We took our immediate family along with the 4 grandchildren here on Sunday. We had a great time and the food was very good. We are renovating the house and had to eat out!

Prices here are higher than other Japanese restaurants we've been to and the portions are smaller too. Hubby ordered beef teriyaki for $13.95 and nothing was included with it. At the Japanese restaurants we've gone to in Mississauga, it comes with a small salad or soup and steamed rice. Here, the shredded beef (not slices of beef as we were expecting) sat on a bed of sprouts and that's all you get. Also, service was slow, we had to wait quite a long time for the tempura appetizer that we ordered. There were only two other tables occupied so we were only 8 customers including us in total. I wonder how long we would have waited if the restaurant was full ..

Had a nice lunch here this week. Pad Thai and 2 curry dishes. All were delicious. They were accommodating to the gluten free diner in our party. The server was attentive and efficient.
