A small variety of sushi rolls to choose from. No other real sushi items besides that. Ginger is okay compared to really fresh ginger. Decor of restaurant is nice and clean bathrooms. Okay for eating solo, dating or friends. Nice for families and small groups. Beware as they will charge you extra if you Don't eat everything you ordered. No leftover boxes allowed for take home. Can order takeout from a different menu. There is a sushi Alan carte. Reasonable price for eating.

We went on a weekend evening and it was packed. The wait was quoted about 15 minutes but it was about 25. No big deal. A good choice of Thai plates. I chose a spicy noodle bowl and the girlfriend got a chicken rice plate. Both were good. We also ordered a tempura banana with ice cream dessert which was delicious. I would go back here again, just not at peak dinner time.

Without any hesitation, lunch today was the absolute best Thai Red Curry I've ever eaten. I savored every delectable bite. It was so creamy, spiced just right (on a 1-5 scale, 5 is the spiciest,.. I requested "4").and worth licking the bowl, which I tried to do! Boy was it good!!!!I hesitated when entering the restaurant because lunch is $7.99... which is a little high for me... but I'm glad I indulged and enjoyed lunch. My friend had the Pad Thai. Sampling her plate, her's was delicious too!

This place is great for anytime day or night. If you go on Friday Saturday night expect to listen to music while dining. Different nights different music. The owner plays a very active role in his business. The rolls are delicious but they donât just have sushi you can other things off the menu. Super cute location and my son loves the jellyfish in tank. They are definitely our place for sure.

The food has been adjusted to North American taste. The waitress was friendly. The green curry I ordered was not really green and did not have much protaine. I had asked for hot and she insisted that I should choose something lighter. The pad-thai was also disapointing.Very limited choice of desserts. Frozen macaroons to be picked-up from a freezer.I won`t repeat.

Sushi restaurants are common in Frisco and each has their loyal crowd. We have been customers at Kotta for 5+ years and go for the absolutely stellar fish (Fridays and Saturdays the selection is best), standout chefs (again, for suburbia), and nice, but casual atmosphere. We love their sashimi (chef's choice), hamachi collar, o-Toro, and Japanese ahi (when available). They have great fried calamari and numerous creative sushi roll options. They are not overly reliant on fried options either, which suits our preference. Make reservations on weekend nights. It gets busy!

This Sushi restaurant was exceptional. from the host to the waitress the waiting period and the food was excellent. We had two salads with ginger sauce which was light and refreshing. Then we order various sushi rolls in which the lobster sushi roll was delish. Then for dessert, a green Tea cheesecake was so surprisingly good then a Cream Brulee which I am very critical of them because most sell them but do not make it well. It should be a custard, not a pudding and yes this was a custard alright. Definitely tipped my waitress as a great waitress should be tipped for a job well done.

The food was great! I'm a vegetarian and there were many options. I tried the Texas Pecan & Figs, which was good. Fired charred artichoke was good. Other members of my group had beef, which they liked too. The review is based on the food because our Waitress was horrible. I mean horrible. I wondered, and maybe she was, whether something terrible was going on in her life because she couldn't focus and failed to bring us many things she said she would (repeatedly) leaving us to fend for ourselves grabbing other waiters and eventually asking for the manager. The manager explained they were still in learning phase, apologized fully and gave us coupons for future visits. It the food hadn't been good they'd never see us again, but it was, and the manager was appropriate, so I'd give them another go in another month or longer.Wow. We are extremely concerned to hear about the service you received. Will you please email me? [email protected]

Wonderful all around. Came on a Friday night about 6pm. No line, no wait. Very private seating. Ambiance is intimate. Waiter was attentive, not too much. Just right. The food is amazing. Beef tongue was perfect. Prime bulgogi was the best we have ever had. Pork stomach excellent. Shrimp a bit smaller than we expected. The sides were great, kimchi super fresh. $24.99 each, Groupon gives you 20% back on your card. We will b back for sure.
