I travel to Florence at least once a month (from Birmingham -the FOODIE capital of the South)-and eat at Yumm quite often-usually every time Iâm in town. The past week I tried the sliced ribeye served over a bed of Asian cabbage. It was so delicious I had to pop on over to Trip Advisor to let yâall know about it. Try lots of different things. Everything Iâve had has been really tasty. This ribeye was a stand out- so try it. I had the oysters too. I just love a good meal. You will too!

Have I mentioned our love for Asian cuisine? We decided to treat ourselves to something good. Rice Box is definitely something good. The service here is always top notch and the food is just as great. There was a short wait, no more than 10 minutes, but it was a Friday night so what do you expect? It looked as though it was also prom night for some people so that added to the business. Rice Box is one of a few places that is actually worth the wait. I got the General Tso's chicken (it was a toss up between that and the orange chicken - easily in my top 5) while she got the tried and true sweet and sour chicken. We also ordered steamed potstickers (dumplings, etc.) which were delicious! Everything was delicious. Not one complaint tonight. The bill came out to $22.24 plus tip.

Enjoyed an exceptional teriyaki salmon lunch here today. A very nice crisp lettuce salad w/ginger dressing , a fine bowl of miso soup preceded the fish. rice and mixed veggies entree. All were excellent. Prompt, friendly service was pleasing. Beautiful decor and low prices were the icing on the cake. A return visit is a certainty.

our dinner plans got switched around some. I had preselected âOdetteâ which was just a couple blocks from our hotel. But because we didnât want to change our clothes, we opted to go someplace where our appearance would not be a factor - which turned out to be âEvergreenâ, a Chinese buffet. Its TripAdvisor rating put it in the top half of Florence eateries - but just barely. Upon arrival, we took solace in seeing a respectable number of cars in their parking lot. And we were quite happy with our decision. The egg drop soup was hot and tasty. The pepper slices in the spicy chicken were hot. And everything else I sampled was decent. Oh yes, and they had ice cream. Was the food noteworthy great? Well, no. But we wouldn't hesitate to come back again should we find ourselves in Florence again.

I've eaten in this restaurant multiple times since they've opened. I've never had a complaint about the food or service. But today, the waitress, or shall I say bus girl, came to refill our drinks after them being empty for quite sometime. She brought me a sweet tea refill with no ice. (Mine had all melted) She brought my boyfriend a Dr Pepper refill to pour into his ice with so much ice he had less that 3 sips of soda. She also should invest in shoes that properly fit as she was parading around the building dragging her feet on the ground. As for when we paid, the said bus girl was making wontons behind the buffet wearing no gloves. She also wiped her nose and continued to make the wontons sans gloves and with no hand washing. I hate to leave a bad review, however, I feel the owner needs attention brought to these problems happening in their establishment.
