We were not pleased at all with our take out order. Had specifically requested that our dishes be spicy and not too much chicken on our dish and the woman who took the phone order wrote down less spicy and we had more chicken than vegetables. If the chicken, if thatâs what it was, wouldâve been of good quality white meat..then perhaps we would not have been so disappointed. The lack of flavor didnât help either. They pride themselves on a âmenu that bursts with flavorâ and all we tasted was oily and bland and not spicy at all as requested. Their Tom Yum soup was not the authentic wonderful flavors weâve experienced in other Thai restaurants...although they claim to be a fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Thai...everything about our dishes screamed Chinese. Also, their portion of the rice that came with the order was smaller than even a take out Chinese place would give. Rice is cheap...why skimp on that? In any event, we will not return as we learned that when an establishment tries to come across as fusion...most of the time it will not be of the best quality. This restaurant came across more Chinese and their Thai and Japanese were just a poor imitation.

I totally did not expect such a wonderful place on Covert Ave! Just color me, pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is beautiful and intimate; the service is prompt and attentive...and the dishes, superb. I've only been there 3x but am definitely making this my go-to neighborhood sushi spot. I am refraining from saying too much because I don't really want to share this gem. BTW, don't go by the address listed here, it is 78 Covert Ave but it's in Stewart Manor, not Garden City.

JC Asian Bistro is a new contender for the best pan asian food on long island. This beautifully decorated restaurant offers a spectacular array of sushi , sashimi and Hibachi fish, steaks and chicken. We ordered a cross section of sushi and sashimi that arrived beautifully plated on fine porcelain white china. We particularly loved the rainbow roll, dragon roll and JC roll. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fine platter of sashimi with its sliced tuna, yellow tail, and shrimp. We also made room for Coconut Green Curry, and Mango chicken. All the dishes were delicious. The service was excellent and the lush interior with its fine wall coverings and magnificent fish tank added to our dining experience. We decided that once was not enough to enjoy this fabulous new restaurant so we came back to sample Hibachi specialties on our second go round. We sampled Hibachi, steak, lobster, scaloops and vegetables. Pineapple fried rice was a delicious treat to supplement our hibachi menu.We also were delighted to sample a number of delicious fruit "mocktail" drinks that included strawberry daquiri without liquor and and a fabulous liqourless pina colada. We were most impressed with CJ the manager and a staff that made us feel welcome. JC Asian Bistro is a wonderful new addition to restaurant row in Floral Park and a terrific place to celebrate special events. Kudos and welcome to JC Asian Bistro for bringing the best of asian culsine toFloral Park.JC Asian Bistro 230 Jericho Turnpike, Floral Park, New York 11001tel:516-216 5286

Was written up in the Long Island Newspaper not to long ago. Very good food.
Frankly Thai is a small, prettily decorated restaurant that serves Thai food. And, the food is delicious! I went with a group of people and everyone thought the food was wonderful. There are lunch specials Tuesdays through Friday. I had the Pad Kee Mao, which includes stir-fried flat noodles (which were excellent), with your choice of protein.

Local hidden gem!!! Unbelievable service (sit at the bar), unmatched quality on Long Island/Queens and completely unexpected. If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here or order take out (quality is not lost, somehow). If you dont live in the area, do yourself a favor and make the trip. Let them feed you. Some of the best sushi I have ever eaten!

My wife and I recently moved to Long Island and after living in LA for many years, we have been looking for our own San Gabriel Valley chinese food scene out here. Chef Wang has a full menu to choose from and we have not been disappointed so far with all the dishes weâve tried. We had some friends who came over and we ordered the lunch specials which are priced well with generous portions and tasted great. Will recommend this restaurant!
