Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Farnham. Farnham is a town in Surrey, England, within the Borough of Waverley. The town is 34.5 miles (55.5 km) southwest of London in the extreme west of Surrey, adjacent to the border with Hampshire. By road, Guildford is 11 miles (17 km) to the east and Winchester a further 28 miles (45 km) along the same axis as London. Farnham is the largest town in Waverley, and one of the five largest conurbations in Surrey. It is of historic interest, with many old buildings, including a number of Georgian houses. Farnham Castle overlooks the town. A short distance southeast of the town centre are the ruins of Waverley Abbey, Moor Park House and Mother Ludlam's Cave. Farnham is twinned with Andernach in Germany. It is drained by the River Wey (North Branch) which is navigable only to canoes at this point.

Been around Farnham for some years and by far the best Chinese in the area.
Thought we would try here again, since the change (previous owners in prison!) as we had a bad meal after initial change in management/ownership. Can safely say we wonât return. Food has really gone downhill which is such a shame as it used to be amazing. Now need to find another decent Chinese locally!

Myself and my parents visited here on an early Sunday evening for a nice meal after helping out with a boxing event at the local sports centre. We were seated quickly and there were a few others already in the venue. We enquired about the all you can eat buffet and found that the word "buffet" is probably a bit of a stretch. Really it's a few trays of curry and a bit of naan, there's no vegetarian option and it's all chicken. I understand that with the all-you-can-eat option it's going to be limited due to profit margins but it wouldn't have taken much to add a vegetarian korma for example. The food itself was lovely, not greasy at all and very tasty. Unfortunately the staff were, for lack of a better word, miserable. Normally in Indian restaurants the service is second to none but sadly on this occasion it was rather lacking. We managed to eke a smile out of the waiter when we were leaving but I suspect this was because we were, indeed, leaving!Think we'll try somewhere else next time or try another day as judging by the other reviews on here I don't think our experience was representative.

I got a takeaway from this restaurant. I confess that I usually go to the Farnham Tandoori but this was much much better. The mixed grill was nothing short of excellent, the naan bread light and perfectly cooked and the vegetable curries above average. I will definitely go again. The owner was particularly charming. Altogether first class take away tandoori.

What a special Grade II listed building! We instantly fell in love with it. The whole of Castle Street is like walking back in time with all its beautiful architecture. I wish I lived on it but weâll have to settle with having our lovely restaurant there
We were recommend the restaurant by our friends who live in the UK and frequently visit this restaurant. A cozy place that offering a good selection of Thai tapas and few signature dishes like Pad Thai ! An amazing experience, the Chef is Thai and most of the staff are too. And this is when I am craving delicious thai food.. simple authentic. We will defiantly recommend this place to our friends and family and for sure we will be back whenever come back to visit the family in U.K. à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸¸à¸à¸à¹à¸° Hi Teddy, Thanks so much for this review, it was such a pleasure to read and see how much of a good time you had visiting us :) We look forward to welcoming you and everyone else you bring along, too!Kind regards, EdManagement Team Giggling Squid Farnham

We live locally so weâve been to Sushi Jun a number of times. The food is fantastic and the chefs, on display, great to watch, enthusiastic and happy. Happy chefs, happy food. So much to like here but favourites would be aubergine miso (you wonât regret trying it), plum wine, pork buns, gyozas, dragon and La la land sushi rolls and the veggie tempura. But everything we have tried has been tasty and top quality. Itâs a small place so without a booking you have to get lucky to get a table or bar spot, but they try their best to fit you in. Iâve seen many turned away when itâs full though. Decor is nothing to write home about, can be cramped when busy, but clean. Really the food is the star quality here. Absolutely worth a try though. Even if youâre not a sushi fan, you might have your head turned.

Iâm a bit of a curry snob. Anything south of Leicester makes me dubious and, after the joys of many northern curries (Syhiba, Prashad and Tharavadhu in particular), Iâm hard to please. Pipasha isnât all that smart or different, but we had a great meal here with very tasty (and huge) tikka paneer, chickpea masala, vegetable dhansak and tarka dal with added spinach, plus a light and fluffy naan. Poppadums were light and crisp and the chutneys really tasty. Service was fast and friendly too. The best in the area (and better than the famed Madhuban in Liss).

Onion domes decorate the windows of this unfussy Indian restaurant specialising in tandoori food. Having been one of the first curry houses in the area, after over 4 decades it is still serving some of the best Indian food in the area for miles. We pride
I've had a takeaway a number of times from Cove Tandoori but my latest one has been, by far the best one I've ever had. That also includes a Michelin star curry house in Cardiff! The food was piping hot, tasted amazing and really made me want to order another one...Onion bhajis were crispy, Chicken tikka makhani was delicious and the naan was light. I'm very much looking forward to having another!

With the demise of Bon East this is probably the last reasonable Peking Style Restaurant in the area. I started with a hot and sour soup. Very very spicy but not bad. I had both the chilli crispy beet and the chicken in yellow bean sauce with a side dish of bean sprouts. The crispy beef was very sweet (too sweet for me) and the chicken was very good. To be fair there really is not much competition in the area. The food is good but not spectacular. Worth a try if the need for a Peking style Chinese is upon you!Would I go again? Yes, nowhere else to go in the area!

This was an expensive night but the quality, presentation and taste of the food was really good.Service whilst ok was a little short on finesse due the the serving staff having to lean over me to get to my wife who was sat inside me.Nevertheless highly recommended.
