We have enjoyed decent Thai food the times we have eaten dinner but the last two times, we were very disappointed in the management's attitude. We arrived late on a Friday evening (30 minutes prior to their closing time, we did not have reservations. When my wife and I walked in to be seated, we were greeted by the host who had an uninviting facial expression, almost like we were not welcomed. When the host guided us to our table he said some of the items on the menu were not available because it was late and it would take too much time to make certain dinners. We ordered accordingly. Dinner was good. Service was adequate. Two weeks ago we arrived again, 30 minutes prior to closing and I could tell as we walked up to the front door which stood wide open, the same host looked mad. I asked for a table for four, the host immediately said we would have to hurry up and eat fast because they were closing soon (closing time was 30 minutes away). We did not want to be rushed again, I explained to the host we were rushed the last time and we did not want to be rushed again. He said "okay" and walked away. I tried to explain that their closing time was 30 minutes out and it would seem to me that as long as we arrived before their closing time, they should serve us but not make us finish eating by the designated closing time. The host just looked at me. So, we will not eat there again. Its a shame because they have decent Thai food in Black Mountain but it isn't that good to be brow-beat into hurrying our dinner so they can walk out the door at closing. There are 4 other excellent Thai restaurants 20 minutes away in AVL.

Mr. Sushi is a hidden gem in Asheville, NC. I would highly recommend it for lunch and thank God for finding it through TripAdvisor. We were fortunate to visit this place in December during our Christmas celebration in Asheville. The customer service that we received right from the beginning from the hostess to receiving our meal quite quickly made our lunch quite a great experience. We had the teriyaki chicken and a spicy roll. Both were fresh, quite delicious and the bill came out to be extremely cheap. It is one of the restaurants that you hope to go back when you are in town and enhances your experience. Thank you Mr. Sushi! We will certainly be back when we are back in Asheville!

I can heartily second the positive reviews left by others. You wouldn't necessarily expect some of the best Thai food to be served out of a gas station convenience store but here it is. Fast friendly service and delicious food. What more do you need?

We started with Miso soup, I had Bento Box chicken teriyaki, my husband had a spicy tilapia dinner, one was better than the other. Such huge portions, we brought enough for lunch tomorrow. Everything fresh and delicious, canât wait to go back.Great service and good prices.

Loved this little restaurant. Suggested by other reviews in Trip Advisor. Restaurant was clean, neat, quaint little booths and quiet. Food was fresh, very well presented and very tasty. Sushi Chef was friendly as was our waitress. Loved the special rolls offered! Large menu to choose from. Highly recommend. Have attached a couple of pictures.

I added this to my cell phone so I can order and pick it up on the way home. Loads of variety. Come out quick and perfect. Venturing out to new dishes like the fried shrimp entrees and those with chinese vegetables. There are always loads of left overs for a perfect breakfast or lunch the following day.

There were several "stone bowls" ordered and each appeared to be quite good.......and a lot. The waitress was new and didn't know how "they" made the stone bowls. Still, interesting apps and a good meal - with great Japanese beer.

With in the last six months I have been to Vietnam on a cooking tour. I got to experience the real thing from Saigon to Hanoi. I would consider the Pho at this restaurant to be very authentic. Itâs a must go every month.
