Had lunch here today. Never noticed the restaurant before. A friend invited me to join her.Food was delicious - well prepared, generous portion. Luncheon specials are interesting and very economical. Service was fine. I would gladly return.

We've been patronizing Cozy Thai for well over a decade. Lately we've felt the quality of the food has slipped (more bland-tasting though the portions remain large) and their never particularly good service has gotten worse. I was on hold for over 4 minutes placing an order - and when I called back had the same thing happen for another 3. The servers are indifferent to rude. We'll be trying other Thai places in Evanston.

Ordered orange beef and chinese broccoli dishes. OK, but nothing special. Tried crispy sweet potato dessert, which I'd pass next time. A nice dining option that I'd give 3.5 stars to if I could--much better choices in Evanston, but not Chinese. So if you've got a yen for that cuisine, it's a decent option. Good service. Nice ambiance.

Award winning Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar and Brewpub. Fresh made Mexican cuisine, fantastic margaritas and a 100 bottle craft tequila list featuring only 100% de Agave tequilas. Beginning in 2016 we began brewing our own beer.
Recommended by family whom we were visiting in Wilmette. He has visited Mexico frequently, as have we, so we are always cautious about trying new Mexican restaurants as most are disappointing. Depot Nuevo does not disappoint! The tacos are delicious and are served in freshly grilled soft corn tortillas The salsas taste fresh. The huge selection of tequilas and mescals appear in very good margarita variations. Best of all is the decor - no giant sombreros, just classy black and white photos of Mexico itself, agave harvest etc.

NaKorn means 'Metropolitan' in Thai. NaKorn started with our belief that authentic Thai food should be found not only in Thailand-but in the U.S., as well. Our menu offers a perfect blend of bold flavors with traditional, old-world recipes in a modern pre
This restaurant was a very short walk from my hotel, had good reviews, and i was looking for a relatively quick dinner and Thai sounded good. From the very beginning, the service was excellent. The servers and the hostess were all extremely polite and very helpful. For appetizers, I got their ginger popcorn chicken. Very flavorful but also very decadent (deep fried and sweet). For the main meal I got their coconut braised chicken curry, which was not quite one of the traditional Thai curries, but was good. I canât recall the cocktail I had but it was delicious. All in all a very nice place. Good food, great service, and nice ambience. Hi 721! Thanks so much for coming and for posting. If there's anything in particular that we might have done to get those 4 stars up to 5, please let us know - we're always looking to improve! We hope to see you again on your next visit to Evanston! We sat at the bar and watched some fantastic knife skills. Green tea is constantly refilled. Stick with the sushi fish. It is excellent. The rolls are not as good. The rice was a mushy texture. They were only cut into 6 pieces instead of 8 and I found the pieces too large to manage in one bite which can be embarrassing to eat. I also didn't love the tamago and I found the masago ratio of rice to eggs to be lacking. I would give 5 stars to the tuna and the scallops, but only 3 stars to the rest.

Seeker of the authentic culinary experience finds a variety of world cuisine in Evanston. Unfortunately, Koi serves a version of Asian food, somewhat adapted for American clientele that is diluted on flavor, and presentation. In our particular case, the service matched the underwhelming food in being numb and uninterested in the guest experience.Iâm so sorry to hear your unfortunate dining experience at koi. I apologize for the service team not helping you making the right food order. We have been service the community for over 15 years and proud of serving authentic Chinese food and fresh sushi. This is a 3.5 Star review.Been a long time since I'd come here and had an enjoyable lunch recently. They have lunch specials that includes soup and egg rolls. The soup was actually tasteless sadly, the egg rolls were surprisingly good and I don't even usually like them. My entree Basil leaves with Shrimp and it was pretty good. Friend got the Vermicelli dish but it was with spaghetti noodles instead so that was very disappointing. She did like the Lychee Mango Smoothie
