Fast thai food in order.
As some reader's of my posts may recall, my beautiful wife and I both enjoy Thai food. Unlike our visit to Soi in Nairobi, my visit to Thammaphon was very nice indeed!I ordered a chicken and veggies dish that was just filled with that beautiful Thai flavour their food is known for. The rice was perfectly done and the portions were huge. Do note, I ordered spicy and it was a very manageable heat and flavor level. The food was hot and fresh, quick order to plate times and top shelf service from my waiter. The ambiance is very Thai beer garden like, the Thai music was a bit on the loud side.Tucked next to the Victoria Mall, it's very easy to find, very safe and just a neat little place.I will be back, come now, you join me then!Enjoy!

The food is not bad, and the service good. Be prepared to apply loads of bug spray as the table are outdoors and you could be carried away by the local wildlife. The meals are reasonably priced and selection is adequate. I do believe that they may be moving venues. Strange that you never see a cat outside there.

What an amazing dinging experience ? Loverly food, great ambiance and excellent service. What I like about Maanzo is that it caters for everything requirement, from the fine dining, sports lounges and a week stocked bar. There are a couple of lounges with large curved screens with selection of movies and HD DSTV. Even has views of the lake.

Honestly couldn't have been happier. Traveling through entebbe for only two days but I wished it was longer. So chilled, smart, comfort. All sports, tvs of modern needs but an atmosphere money can't buy and food that I'd forgot what taste like after 3 months in Uganda (traveling). Places like this deserve 2 minutes time to rate!

We are closed and will reopen on May 2. Sorry but have to take break and see family and friends back home and enjoy the Thai New Year festival. Hope to see you when we return.
We really loved everything about our dinner here. We had called ahead and reserved a table for 4 people outside on the verandah. We were advised what time was best to arrive to avoid any chance of lake flies. When we arrived, our table was ready and the advice on timing was perfect, not a lake fly to be seen. The couple we were with have traveled to Thailand before so we let them take care of the ordering. I couldn't tell you exactly what dishes we had, but I can tell you that it was all delicious. We had some soup to start, satay and for the main course we had an assortment of dishes with chicken, prawns, rice and of course Pad Thai. Everything had a lot of flavour and popped with flavors. I have eaten Thai food before but this was on another level. It was nice to go with 4 people so we were able to try a nice variety of dishes. We didn't try any of the desserts as we didn't save enough space, maybe next time! The owner of the restaurant came over and checked on us and even remembered that my husband had called to make the reservation. Service at its best. The wait staff were great as well, everyone was attentive and professional. The atmosphere is pretty darn nice. A large palm tree next to us swaying in the wind and a vast array of tropical plants and shrubs in the garden. The moon was full that night which only added to the ambiance. We could hear the waves crashing on the shore of the lake across the street so we really felt like we were on a beach holiday. Although it wasn't coming from the Thai Garden restaurant, shortly after we arrived, we could hear cultural singing and drumming from the establishment across the street. It really make for nice background music without being annoyingly loud. The bathroom inside was tastefully decorated and very clean.I tell everyone that I meet passing through Entebbe that they should have a meal here. It's absolutely great and I can't fault it on anything. Thanks to all the staff there for a job well done. I'll see you on my next trip to Entebbe! Hi miss_giraffeI think this response may be the longest review we have had. Don't know how to thank you for taking the amount of time you put into such a rave review. Not only did you positively comment on the food and atmosphere you even commented on the toilets. This is the most thorough review I can remember in quite some time.Hope to see you and friends again and we will TRY to impress again. Can't guarantee the waves crashing on the shore will be there but the rest should be the same.Best RegardsPaul & Jum
