First off, there have been several renditions of this Thai restaurant. Once called Dan Thai, it became Thai Simulan and eventually Thai Blues, which is its current name. We have eaten at all during the years and based on our recent visit to Thai Blues, the current edition is the best yet. We found both the service and the food to be exceptional. The very pleasant waitress and server were efficient and non-intrusive bringing water, wine, appetizer, salads, main course and check timely with appropriate intervals. I had the Massaman curry and it was excellent! While other restaurants in the area use white potatos or avocados, This Blues uses sweet potatoes in this curry dish and it is oh so very good. My wife loves the Panang curry and the cashew nuts with chicken and we always have the dumpling appetizer, also great. If you've not been to this Thai location under its current name, please do give it a try.

While visiting my in-laws we came to umami for a birthday celebration. The place is a little worn but the food was great. I love the change in noodles and rice and the veggies were delicious. This is also one of the few places like this that I have seen offer side orders, for those who don't want the whole meal. Yum! We will be back.

While I've had incredible Chinese food in many cities this was not bad for a small place. We checked other reviews on different sites and decided to try it. There were no standout dishes but no really bad ones either. The Hunan items could be a LOT more spicy, but that is our personal taste. We tried Hunan Chicken with vegetables, Beef with mixed vegetables, Sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and other items. The sauces were fair and the rice was ok if not a bit old. The fried rice was not very good. It had been made quickly with a little soy sauce and nothing else. The staff were very friendly and sweet. The prices were good comparatively and we had plenty of food for dinner AND lunch the next day.

Dinner at this clean, well decorated and spacious restaurant was a pleasure for us. The menu is large and has a lot of variety, including a make your own dish. You choose your sauce, your meat, your veggies then your rice. Very nice. Sushi looked really good, very Large rolls and nicely presented. Service was quick and pleasant. Average prices, big portions (I have enough for lunch tomorrow). I will be back, but not on the weekend. I was told there are long waits all weekend long. We had no wait at all on this weekday night. They do have take out too. Located in the Alamance Crossing Shopping Center.

Upon entering on super bowl Sunday madness, I wanted something quick and yummy. This little spot was packed.it was finally my turn and I was not familiar with the menu I was guided by the cashier really friendly and knew her stuff.I was told 15 minutes to wait, only took about 8. All my food was packaged and ready to go . All extras were also in the bag sauces, napkins, utensils etc....Got home and pleasantly surprised to see enough food for a few days with what I ordered.

Don't let the waiter talk you out of the Bento Box ....it is a better deal and gives you some variety. A couple of months ago we had a very good first experience here. But not so much this time. We will give it another try in a while and see which way the rubber match goes.

There are not many places in this area that specialize in Korean cuisine. Mixed Rice offers numerous Korean meals for dine-in or carry-out. I have been pleased with my visits to this restaurant, although the dine-in would feel a little better if we could use plates instead of the styrofoam carry-out boxes. The staff is polite and I think they take their job very seriously. I always think they want their customers to be happy, and well fed.

Iâve been here 4 times on different visits to my old alma mater Elon. The food and service has been great every time. Last night 8 of us went and everyone loved their meal. Our server was fantastic! The food is fresh and well done-we especially loved the veggie spring rolls.
