I was in Ellensburg for a week and was eating at various places, but not going to any Chinese food restaurants.....this area is better for Mexican food than anything. However, I decided to try this place out and with very low expectations, I had dinner. The place was, well, spartan with a few booths and tables. I was encouraged by the fact that the waitress spoke Chinese to the cook in back. I ordered beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein and when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The beef was incredibly tender and the broccoli cooked perfectly....together they were very tasty. The lo mein had a lot of cabbage (too much for my liking) but the noodles were seasoned nicely. Since that's all I had, it's hard to say more about this restaurant, but when I'm in town, I will be back to try more. If you have a craving for beef and broccoli and lo mein, try Panda, you will not be disappointed!

The sushi here is actually surprisingly good. Kim, the sushi chef, will usually hand you a sample of something to try while you are waiting. The servers are a little awkward, and don't seem to know what they're doing. A little pricey for a college town, but well worth it.

We always order the China Inn special fried rice and pot stickers. My husband is kind of a picky eater, and he always enjoys the food we get here. We normally order take out,and the food is always fresh and hot when we pick it up. The owners are always welcoming to us.

I disagree with other reviews. There was more than I expected and the sauce was tangy and downright delicious. It was just really good for take out. No ambience in the place- but that's not what it's about Big helpings. Quick service.. I'd go again.

We have been here multiple times. The buffet is hot and easy to use. We really like our server. We have really enjoyed the special. We would like it better if the place was cleaner. One side has cleaning equipment where patrons eat. There is some paper at 1 table that needs to be removed. This a good place to have lunch or dinner.

We all ordered a lunch combo, all of which included a side of Pad Thai, our favorite Thai noodle dish. None of us could eat even two bites of the Pad Thai. It smelled bad and tasted worse. It even looked bad. All of the noodles had been broken down to 1/2- inch pieces. It was inedible. My main dish was Red Curry Chicken, which was supposed to have several vegetables in it, but only contained bamboo shoots, some of which were so thick that they were inedible. My wife had the Cashew Chicken, which was so salty she couldn't finish it. The waitress came by to ask how everything was, we were courteous but honest, and she slinked away muttering something like, "Oh, sorry about that". Although none of us had touched our Pad Thai, and none of us had finished our nine-dollar lunch combos, she brought the bill with a smile as if nothing had occurred. I looked at the bill and asked her if we were to pay full price for our lunch, and she said, "Yes, sorry about that". We paid and left and will never return. We ate at home. Sugar's "Thai" had a bad smell, bad taste, bad visual presentation and bad service. It was a rip-off.

We stopped here for an early dinner on a Wednesday afternoon. I ordered the steak and vegetables, while my husband had the âscorpion roll.â Both were really good. My steak was marinated and tender. Rather than being served as a slab of meat, it was cut into cubes. The vegetables included sweet onion, carrots, and broccoli. It also included rice.My husbandâs sushi roll was made with breaded, fried shrimp and arrived on the plate in the shape of a scorpion. It was very big and he had trouble finishing all of it, so I helped. Very tasty. The staff was attentive and polite.
