I wanted to try their ttoek-bok-ee with cheese so I ordered this item to- go together with a half order of Gangnam Chicken. Loved both dishes! However, since they do not give any complimentary banchan (side dishes) with takeout orders, I think they should consider serving the banchan while the customers wait for their order. I felt kind of short changed because I paid the same amount as the dine in customers yet they had banchan while I didn't.
I have eaten at many Mongolian BBQs, but this is a first in a mall. The mall itself is dying (or never lived) with many empty stores and small number of shoppers (there were 5 other patrons at lunchtime!). The food was tasty, it was well cooked by the grillmaster, it was ample, and it had lots of ingredient options. The instructions, beginning of the line, order of food, were all a bit baffling. The soft drink fountain was disconnected and only four flavors of canned soft drinks were available. I asked for ice, but there was none. I enjoyed my meal, but it was below average because of the limited beverages and there was no rice, dessert, or other options that are typical of such barbecues. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. I would guess it won't be in business much longer.
Friends took us here, plenty of parking in large strip mall (near Ross side), for lunch on Saturday. Open and clean room with attentive service. We came pass the lunch "crowd", and there was outside grilling with chicken, pork cheeks, lamb, and beef skewers which we ordered one of each. Very good with some hotness; had to ask for water again. Also tried the sweet/vinegar pickled cabbage, tasty beef chow fun, and the interesting Chow Jou (seafood) Pan Fried Noodles which reminded me of the "bird nest" chow mein. Noodles 21 also offered the Vietnamese iced/hot coffee, Thai iced milk and smoothies. A very pleasant lunch of good value.

I have noticed lower ratings by other people, you can surprise me; every time we go the placed is packed. The food is fresh and plenty of food to eat. If you go away hungry it is your fault. As for us we will be back soon.

We went looking for Sichuan cuisine. We found everything smothered in a non-descript sweet-sour sauce with just a bit of heat. The Mala Chicken (supposedly hot and spicy) was a weak General Tso variant. I suspect the cook is Cantonese. Very disappointing, especially when it is so close to good restaurants in El Cerrito and Albany.

A friend told us about this place. He said "it's a hole in the wall" but great food, even better than Sawadee and great prices. Agreed. The service was great and food excellent. Prices were not as high as Sawadees as well. Going to the bathroom was an adventure. Lol. I had to go through the kitchen where they were cooking. Be careful. Lol

Had the traditional baht mi pork sandwich with cilantro and an avocado smoothie with tapioca pearls. The ingredients were all fresh and looking at other dishes around me, this is obviously a popular local opportunity to sample well prepared Vietnamese cooking.

Top 10 American food in El Sobrante, California, United States

So many restaurants close at 9pm in the Bay Area. If you want to avoid chain establishments or fast food outlets, there are few options, especially in outlying parts of the East Bay like El Sobrante. Open till 10pm, this Asian fusion restaurant does a good job serving a selection of Chinese and Thai dishes. It's relatively small, though even at lunch it's rarely full, and evenings they seem to do a steady business in take-out.
