When in the mood for Chinese/Malaysian and in the area, this is my must stop. I have had this place many times, and usually get two or three of my regular dishes...beef lomain, General Tso's, etc... they do it all well. Been around for years. Can get busy on the weekend for pick up, but that just means they are doing good.

We did takeout based upon reviews. Food was tasty and well done. Very tepid greeting by manager even though we were ordering a lot. Saw him greet others very warmly. Probably wouldnt return even though food was good. Service means a lot in my book.

Atmosphere lacking but food makes up for it!! We make sure it's on our list every time we're in Metuchen, for lunch. This time we went 2x over the holiday. All of us enjoy it, including our 9yr old. Always get my "pink" dish... some crab dish "two thumbs up" and love it. Chinese type service, not gushing with happiness but straightforward and everything is yummy.

Lovely place...best Thai food around. This place has smaller portion for the price, however the dishes have amazing flavor. The ambience is cozy but extremely pleasant with its unique leaf decor, hence the name Phattra. Service was quick and good inspite the busy saturday night. Overall will recommend to anyone and will visit again!

In Southeast Asia, street food represents the best food you can find. Drinks are served in plastic bags, rice comes hand-wrapped in fresh banana leaves or printed newspaper. Small shops and carts cooking simple home style food.â Sometimes portable, someti
Compared to the Asian dishes in NY/CA, it is decent. But in this city, it might be the most decent Chinese/Singapore food. Donât recommend its Hainan Chicken due to its room to improve for authenticity. The interior decoration is welcoming but the service is average.

This is pretty good Thai food. Nothing amazing. Decor is lacking, but honestly who really cares about that. People were polite and got us in and out for lunch quickly.

SushiO is the very best sushi in the area as far as I'm concerned. Heard a lot about the restaurant from local friends, but hadn't made a visit until a few months ago. The location in a small strip mall is quite deceiving. It is bigger than it appears, nicely decorated, but most importantly the food is fantastic! Tuna is the best. Soft shell crab delectable. Rolls are awesome and sushi lollipops quite unique! Everything is very fresh & delicious. Truly, the best sushi in Middlesex County in my opinion. HIGHLY recommend. You won't be sorry!

This place serves the absolutely best Xiaolong Bun in Jersey. The restaurant is essentially a whole-in-the-wall and always very crowded. Expect to wait for 30 minutes, even at some odd hours. My kids like it very much and we think the food is delicious enough worth of waiting for.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is a restaurant specializing in Mongolian style hot pot dining. With 36 spices and ingredients in our original soup base recipe, our flavorful broth is sure to satisfy every single one of your taste buds. The highest quality
This hot pot restaurant is very popular on the weekends. Some weeknights this restaurant is also full. The best time to go is for their lunch special Monday through Friday before 3 PM for $10.95. Not only it is economical but less crowded. The last time we went was for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. I prefer the spicy soup base but the rest of the family stick with the regular. I personally think the regular broth is too salty but the spicy one is just right. It came with tons of chilis and other spices. Very aromatic and tasty. I suspect they use a fair amount of MSG as well.If you order one meat, one veggie, one meatball and wonton per person, expect to spend at least $25 per person without drinks and tax/tip. We have not been able to spend less than $30 per person when all is said and done. Quite pricey for the amount of meat that you get. Seafood is even more expensive. We have tried just about every meat that they offer including beef Angus, fatty beef, variety cuts of lamb, free range chicken, and their seafood. We have tried the vegetable combo platter but prefers to stick with broccoli, Napa cabbage, and bok choy. Beware that the vegetables and the meat shrink when you cook them. The meat is sliced very thin so they cook really fast in the boiling soup. The food has been consistently very good (broth and The freshness of the meat and vegetable). Service is very good also. The wait can be long on certain nights. You can wait until your turn or try other restaurants in the complex. No reservation for party of less than six. It is always a fun place to eat with the family but be prepared to spend a lot of money. As I mentioned in the beginning, the best time to go it's on weekdays and order their lunch special. Now that's what I call a great deal.
