The food was good, not mind blowing. Based on that alone, I probably would give this place 4 stars. However, the service was disappointing. Our server was clearly not in a good mood, which made this visit not fun for us. She was frustrated when we asked any questions, and ignored our asks a couple of times.

This place is located in a little strip mall in the Edgewater neighborhood. My Cousins live near by and it's one of their favorites! I have to say that everything was very good. I would rank the sushi right at the top of some that I have eaten. Quick and efficient service! Off the beaten path but worth it!

Fantastic ramen, staff absolutely friendly and lots of options of sake. The only problem is the fact that they do not take reservations by phone; first come first serve and we had to wait like 45/50 min. Absoultely worth it for me but you have to consider that. Not to0 expensive and very good ambient. We will be back

Pub food gone international.
We came here for late bites after attending a concert at the nearby Pepsi Centre. At first we were taken back by the menu and didnât think there was much that fit our late night cravings. We stayed and had a good chicken sandwich, the classic pickles starter and duck wings. There were some good beer options on tap and a lot of beers by the bottle. The place was noisy largely because people had to talk over the load music. We got what we were after.

My friend and I really wanted some good sushi while we were in Denver. Had tried this awhile back, and it was good but prices were a bit high. This time, NOT EVEN! We went for Happy Hour, and got sake, edamame and 5 delicious rolls for just over 40 dollars. The service that others complained about was phenomenal, we got checked in on, and served in a very timely manner. It was a great visit and will go again!

So good. We stopped in before 5 pm on a Sunday and got a table easily. Got really busy in the hour we were there. I can recommend the pork egg rolls (wow- all homemade) and Drunken Noodles with mild + spiciness ( wonderful). Dont let the looks of this place dissuade you

I love Cholon...I have been there two different times now and both times the food has been excellent! The reason I titled my five star review though with a caveat, is because something happened both times while eating there, that was just so annoying. I felt it needed to be mentioned, however, I don't think the restaurant either cares or doesn't want to make the change because I have seen this mentioned before in other reviews. The staff although very kind and very attentive, are TOO ATTENTIVE, to the point of being intrusive, rude and making a diner feel rushed. It's too expensive of a restaurant to feel this way. You can barely take a sip of water without someone rushing to fill it back up again, about 20 people come by to clear off plates before one is even able to finish the food, and one cannot even have a conversation with their dinner guests, because of too many interruptions. It's ridiculous! By the time you finish your meal, which feels incredibly hurried, you leave thinking wow, all they are concerned with is turning the table over to make more money. I'm putting a three star below for service, because it's TOO MUCH SERVICE! I know many restaurants need MORE SERVICE, but please Cholon, your restaurant is too good to feel this way, and I hope you make the necessary changes so people can enjoy this wonderful place and cuisine!

This has a warm neighborhood feel while providing the nicest choice selection around. The menu changes and presentation of your meal will surprise even the most particular diners. Each time I have visited there were seasonal selections from appetizer to desert!
