A family run Bangladesh/Anglo Indian inspired cuisine restaraunt. Using fresh local ingredients and homestyle recipes. With weekly specials we always have something new to try. We also have a lovely range of vegan friendly dishes. We are BYO and we don't
We ate at Jays a couple of weeks running recently. Its a very friendly and welcoming family affair. The produce Jay cooks with in his kitchen (and you can see him preparing it) is wonderfully fresh and local. The tasty pickles and entrees are homemade and served up ahead of incredibly tasty and dangerously moorish meat and vegetarian dishes. The meat is generally slow cooked and falling off the bone and the flavours deep and delicious. We couldn't recommend this perfect little family restaurant more!So glad you enjoyed our little restaurant. Look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

One of the best places to get Thai food in Perth. Very reasonable prices. Friendly Staff - Service with a Smile.

Visited here last week having not been here for about 12 months. Décor and such just the same. Always busy and especially with Asian families and groups. Ordered our 'usual' dishes - duck dishes are particularly good - and sufficient left-overs for lunch the following day.

This a a little gem. We had a very finicky eater in our group and the staff were extremely friendly, patient and accommodating. The mal the provided for her was delicious. All the meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. There is a bottle shop across the road, so easy for BYO. Recommend.

This place is always a hit with us and vegetarian friends, as they have an amazing selection of vegetarian dishes, each one so delicious!!!Staff are always friendly too. Not a place to get food in any sort of hurry though as staff usually potter about before taking orders and food takes a while to get to the table! The place has a cheap cafe come deli feel and could do with a bit of a revamp and perhaps some nice ethnic music to set the mood. In saying that itâs comfortable and welcoming and seems fairly busy. Definitely recommend the Aloo Cauli, the Chyau ko takari & Aloo bodi tama...Yum!

Itâs so so so rare to find good service in Perth these days, however this quaint little shop does not fail to deliver service with the biggest smile. Working in hospitality, Iâve come to expect a standard regarding service but I was actually blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff here are. It really brings another level to the dining experience. I almost forgot to mention the food! I have been here for breakfast lunch and dinner and not once have I left disappointed with my meal choices. Presentation, interesting flavour combinations, attention to detail, food made with love. I would recommend Pachi Pachi for anyone looking to dine in Vic Park

Eaten here 3 times now. Firstly, this is a Japanese restaurant. Why this is it that when I walk in and say "Konbanwa" the staff have no idea. Likewise "ArigatÅgozaimashita" is met with blank stares and laughter that the staff dont speak Japanese. A simple gesture to learn some phrasing....So first up the lunches. I had the Katsu Pork Curry on both occasions while my mate had the Ramen. The pork was really nice the first time and the curry was very good. Mild and flavourful. The second time I went there the pork was dry and chewy and the miso tasted very old. I tried a third time for dinner with a mate and did not expect the twist this place does on food. The gyoza was standard, but very nice. My friend had salmon sushi, which he said was the bomb. I had a pork meat ball katsu curry. At first I was a bit surprised, but the flavour was great. Overall, I's say this is a solid place to eat. One mediocre meal out of three, but the third one was nice. Great atmosphere.

Sitting down to watch, listen, smell and taste so many dishes being cooked was amazing. The chef was friendly and cheerful and so knowledgeable in his craft. Cannot even begin to describe how amazing the food was and there was so many little courses that I couldn't keep up! Will definitely return.

Never disappoints, took awhile to get seated but what to expect on CNY. The Borongsai was an awesome and loud start to the evening. Good Fortunes excellent roast meats were exceptionally moist and tender with great crackling on the roast pig (sorry it is itâs year to celebrate) and the kailan in oyster sauce was a lovely crunchy vegetable accompaniment. For the pescatarian in our family the chilli salt and pepper squid quenched the appetite. Will not (& do not) hesitate to go back...thanks Good Fortune staff.

We started off with the dumplings and we were most impressed. The dumplings had lots of flavor and the sauce was so good. We then had the Rendang Short Ribs and they were the best. The meat was so very tender and the sauce is addictive. We accompanied this with the Roasted Pumpkin. I would go back just for the pumpkin it was so tasty and the sauce fantastic. We had an excellent meal.
