Located in the Night Market, this restaurant, which popped up within the last two years, is a welcome addition to this famous Buddhist city and was started to reflect Buddhismâs practice of non-violence. The owners locally source food, pay employees a good wage, and have created a beautiful, peaceful space in which to enjoy delicious food

Large areas filled with restaurants, food stations, shops and more. There are several areas where you can sit outside while your food is being prepared. It's impossible to tell which one is decent and which one not so we decided to sit at a place that had a very happy and energetic hostess with a picture menu. Nobody really speaks any English but we had a good time, food was tasty and cheap. On the main commercial street there were a few very nice antique shops which are definitely worth a look. If you crave good coffee the Memory Box cafe is a very good option. It is on a street parallel to commercial street. About half way commercial street the is a square from there it's the second street parallel to commercial street.

We were traveling from Xinjiang and Gansu provinces in China and wanted to try something that was not chinese food.This Korean bbq was a the best restaurant we found in these regions to escape the traditional chinese cousine.Once we arrived in the restaurant the owner came to greet us, speaking a perfect english he answered all the questions we had and explained how the menu worked.We order 3 different meats and 2 rices (seafood rice and vegetable rice). Food was very good and staff was very attentive and helpful, would certainly return and recommend for all travelers in the area.
