Staff was NOT friendly and everything had to go fast. Drinks you better take by the bottle (big),aubout ⬠5.The cook didn't even speak German or English so how can you give proper service. The warm buffet was dry and a lot was overcooked.De shushi is ok and the fresh fried meat and fish are good.Dessert buffet was ok.The manager should be around (if there is one) because if they go on like this business wil go down.Have been there 2 times but won't go back. The Asians in Asia are much more friendly, they should be the same here!

The restaurant was only open for about a week when we visited in March this year. It is very nicely decorated in Thai style and the owner is very friendly. He is from New Zealand and his wife, who was also cooking that night, is from Thailand. We had so much fun chatting to the owner and his colleague. The food was really amazing, accompanied by Thai beer. There were 5 of us and everyone was very happy. I hope we get to visit this restaurant again.

Sorry to say but the food can only described as substandard. Everything we had ordered tasted dull and unimaginative. Service was on the slow and indifferent side. If our are looking for real Thai food this restaurant is definitely not recommended.

Sun Grill is a small Korean restaurant within walking distance from Duisburgs railway station and city center. The restaurant has a rather extensive menu for a small place (about 20 people can be seated at a time). Service quality was very nice. We ate two types of Bulgogi, which were tasty and came with a few side dishes (albeit not the large variety served at more upmarket places). Drinks are very reasonably priced.

They do take aways and sit down either inside or outside. The food is prepared quickly with good ingredients which are tasty. The portions are good, not too much so you can't finish nor too small you feel empty at the end of the meal. Located behind the main pedestrian shopping promenade so tourists won't find it unless they're looking for it. Can't recommend just one dish, all the ones we tried were tasty. I can recommend the cabbage wraps and satay, along with udon soup with chicken.

We weren't expecting much of the restaurant, we were just looking for a place to have a quick bite to eat. The menu outside is very cluttered and could use some marketing guidance, but ignore that and go in!Very nice staff, expert advice on the plates and a nice interior. Great cocktails and surprising combinations. We had a wonderful Thai soup, Red curry dish and a beef satay dish. All were very good quality, nice size and full of flavour. I greatly recommend this place, I'm sure that you will be pleasantly surprised too!Dear H D,in behalf of our entire Team we want to thank you for your great review. We highly appreciate your comments and are glad to read that you enjoyed your stay with us.We are looking forward to welcoming you back in the nearest future. Thanks again and best regards from the Mongo`s TeamDennis

This is a typical 'Imbiss' shop; that is: not a restaurant, but fitted with high bar-stools and cocktail tables crammed into a small shop-lot. No guest toilet either. Orders taken at the counter. That's some of the downsides. The really great part is the food. It is absolutely delicious; we guess the best Thai food in Duisburg. The cook prepares all dishes fresh before your eyes; and what we had was very tasty and original.Another downside is the price. The prices might be adequate for a fully-fledged restaurant, but never for an Imbiss. No dishes below ⬠7; even the weekly offers were at ⬠7 and ⬠7,50; without any extras. The actual offer of a dish including a soup was ⬠9,50. The cheapest vegetarian one is also ⬠7,00. There are plenty places close by that offer value for your lunch-money. Sawadi, alas, doesn't. At least, we don't draw enough salary to spend that much on a lunch dish in a lunch environment.

Sabaidee dear guests, welcome to Poukhoun Restaurant! We are a small family business and invite you to get to know the laotian food culture in a relaxed and companionable atmosphere. We try our best for your culinary and short vacation wellbeing :-) ! See
My first visit to a Laotian restaurant!!! And I've been back already... This place is very small and I'd recommend you reserve a table. The food is very good. We thought it was tastier than Thai food and with four friends we all were happy with our starters and only one of us wasn't thinking the main dish was better than our favourite Thai. The service is very friendly and individual. We asked lots of questions and all were answered with a smile. I'd recommend this place to anybody who likes Asian style food.

My husband and I kept walking past this restaurant on the way to the brew house just around the corner so I suggested popping in after our half marathon. We weren't disappointed. The food was perfectly formed and so very tasty. Had chicken satay to start with which was wonderful and a curry for mains. The waiter was interesting looking and efficient. It's a small place that always seems to be full. That speaks volumes to me, so would be very happy to return. Behind the counter, two Thai ladies cook and fry and work really hard but with a warm smile. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service here. Highly recommended.
