Found this restaurant by chance some two years ago. We've been coming back here on many occasions.Small, quaint, good, linen table, pleasant service and most importantly delicious Cantonese food.Desserts is probably the only thing this place don't have.Enjoy!

My new favourite Indian. We had a banquet for 6 (with a prawn dish) and it was perfect. Beautifully blended flavours, with options for intensity and delicious accompaniments, all at reasonable prices. Accommodating, friendly staff who were happy to make changes where needed for dietary requirements. Hidden in a local shopping strip, this place has unobtrusive take-away as well as a comfortable restaurant setting. Will certainly be going back - a gem!

We visit this restaurant once every 2 months or so, for us is a local restaurant with very nice Thai food. The food is very delicious and reasonably priced. the staff are very friendly. Better make a booking for dinner even during the week. Highly recommend it. we have booked a table for 9 for tomorrow again, I'm sure we will not be disappointed .

Eastern Court Restaurant established in 1982. The spacious Dining Room is ideal for all special occasions. Our chefs are truly masters at delighting both your taste buds and the eye with a variety of wonderful dishes using the freshest ingredients and pre
Went for an 11 o'clock sitting on a Sunday for yum cha. The food was great and plentiful as usual, but the inside of the restaurant could do with a refurb. Staff are always friendly and accommodating to your needs. We had 1 vegetarian with us. The only draw back with the early sitting is that you have a time limit, but if you know this like we did it's fine, Can B.Y.O. Prices average for this type of eating.

Whether breakfast or high tea or dinner Secret Kitchen offers traditional Cantonese cusine. It's a Chinese restaurant at Westfield Doncaster with a large dining room. The welcome tea was nice and Dim Sum basket had wide variety. Minced Chicken in Lettuce Cup was yummy. Sweet Corn Soup and Moscato grapes wine were encouraging. Fried Rice , Szechuan Beef , Fried Pork Ribs and Crispy Duck were all amazing. Very fast service and quality food. Appreciated !

@JW @Pauline S. Can confirm your reviews, in fact, you might have been too kind. I've brought my family there for over fifteen years and food generally good, sometimes exceptional like the crispy oyster omelette "oh-chien" (4.5 stars) - and my personal favourite - "poh piah" wraps (5 stars). The lovely old lady, the owner is a delight. SERVICE? I hate to say this, but the nouveau generation of younger family management (daughter-in-law?) is arrogant to a fault. I am doing the best I can - after 1 hour of waiting - 'take it or leave it' - and "if you don't like our food, go away because some other mug is just around the corner to love us". "You stupid customers are just lucky we put up with you because we're the bees knees in Malaysian cuisine". Sheesh. Listen guys! You've been warned. There are better Malaysian restaurants elsewhere.

Had dinner here for 4 pax. The place is small but comfortable. We ordered several dishes and were pleasantly surprised with the taste. One dozen of fresh scallops cooked 2 styles, ie with xo sauce and plain steaming with glass noodles. Decent size and tasted truly fresh.Mixed platter of siew yoke and roast duck which was crispy and yummy.Salt baked flatfish was the star attraction. Sweet flesh and crispy fins.A plate of vegetables and rib eye beef in Maggie sauce.Service was good and pricing reasonable. We brought our own wine and finished 2 bottles with the excellent food.Highly recommended.

It was one of our family's 18th birthday, so his parents arranged a table for 16 and most of the immediate family came to celebrate. We had a fun night. Several of those present had never experienced the teppanykaki style of cooking. They really enjoyed seeing the chefs use the very hotplate to cook the food. We had one of the set menus. I think it was $55 per head, which is not cheap but there was plenty of food and management allowed a cake from outside to be cut and served with our choice of ice cream.Basically the meal began with pickles, sweet potato spring rolls, then a small salad each. Two vegetarians were well catered for and had their food cooked first. At this point the chefs began to cook fish, chicken, and beef, plus beansprouts. The final act was the fried rice, which featured ribbons of omlette. This was the time when bits of omlette were fired at the mouths of anyone willing to try to catch the egg in their mouth. Only the grandparents refused! Later bowls were launched at the hands of the diners. The floor was pretty messy when a couple of people missed the bowl filled with fried rice! All good fun.We took our own wine. Not sure what the corkage was. It was an enjoyable evening.
Was taken out to lunch by a work colleague who was familiar with Korean food. She ordered the Spring Rolls, Korean Fried Chicken, Spicy Pork with rice.Very tasty, reasonably priced and the servings were quite large.Staff were very friendly and the service was good.Need to come back for dinner to try more dishes.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for several years and the owner Michael who also runs the kitchen is doing an amazing job. The Sashimi Combo is fantastic along with really all dishes on offer. It is a great place for a quick healthy Japanese meal with all the trimmings making this culture experience so special. Why travel all the way into the CBD when you can go to Mikuâs
