Fushi Yami provides the finest quality Japanese cuisine to the DeKalb county area.
Not even worth it if you're desperate for a Japanese food experience. You go up to a counter to order your food, but they still request a tip on the receipts. The place is only so-so clean (people with dust allergies, beware!). I ordered a "Jumbo shrimp udon" that offered '6 pieces' but it came with two (small-sized!) shrimp with some enormous tempura fried vegetables -- pretty misleading. The broth was dreadful -- obviously flavored with canned aburage syrup, because the aburage was soggy and heavy with artificial preservation syrup. Noodles were most likely bought frozen. They were ok for frozen noodles...But some of the staff seem downright grouchy -- I walked away from my table to refill my water and one guy checking the tables gave me a dirty look; I'm guessing he thought I was going to leave my bowl on the table instead of putting it in the dishpan by the trash, but he should've asked instead of glaring.

If you love Chinese and buffets then this place is for you. This place has awesome food. A huge variety of food. They also have California rolls and sushi. Atmosphere is always clean when I come. Wait staff are very efficient by bringing beverages.

I'd always wanted to eat at Bea's Wok'n Roll ever since spotting the Vietnamese restaurant's name while driving around DeKalb a few years back. I finally ate lunch there. The food was great. Staff was friendly and provided great service. You'll need to time your visit because seating is rather limited. My lunchmate and I each ordered an entree and an appetizer. Everything tasted great.

Surprisingly good Vietnamese food at this small, relaxed, and family friendly restaurant. Spring roll appetizers, beef skewers, and chicken stir fry were all really good (and the peanut sauce with the spring rolls was truly excellent!). I would definitely go back here again for some of the best Vietnamese food I have had in a while. Nothing fancy, just good high-quality cooking.

I took my mom to DeKalb over the weekend for a show at the Egyptian and she was sad that her old favorite Chinese restaurant had closed many years ago after they had left town. So we decided to try a "new" one, that had actually opened shortly after they left town around 25 years ago. There is a traditional front walk up to a red door in the front, however since most of the parking is in the back they added side doors to the lobby. Upon entering we discovered the front door had actually been "secured" with a big piece of wood wedged in the handles. Odd, but OK as long as fire code is maintainedWe were the first in for dinner on Friday except for an older gentleman sitting in the first booth by the kitchen. He seemed to be family judging by the interactions with the staff and was obviously enjoying his meal and that is a good sign.We ordered won ton soup and spring rolls to start. Both were fabulous. We perhaps lucked out by visiting this time of year when all vegetables are fresh and flavorful, but the home made won tons and spring roll skins were great.I had spicy pork and mom had chow mein. No choice of rice but the white rice was just fine. Again the quality of the dishes was super and we had enough to leave with leftovers. So I guess we have a new favorite.

A wonderful Asian restaurant in a clean, new space. Iâve never had anything I didnât love, but hot means hot. The lunch specials are a great deal, with soup and spring roll. Several choices, but I canât get past the pad Thai. Delicious. Tables are close together, it it isnât usually too crowded.
